[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dishwasher I replaced is not as powerful as it used to be. I often have to pre-wash and rewash the dishes. I’ve also noticed rust spots on the dishes. Additionally, the bottom rack doesn’t fully adjust to lay flat, which is not very functional for pots and pans. The third rack only works for utensils if they’re pre-washed. Honestly, I wish I had tried to repair or save the older version. It seemed sturdier and functioned better.

I liked it, but the water wall sadly stopped working so dishes weren't getting cleaned and it started leaking every time we washed. This new unit said it was 3 dBA more but can't hear the difference. We have a open living/kitchen so if we run it while we're a wake we didn't want it to be load. It passes that test. I like the autorelease door, which we also had on our other one, so definetly didn't want to loose that. Having the water spin the parts on the bottom is definitely the way to go! I wanted to stay Samsung as weverything from TVs, appliances to phones are all Samsung.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this dishwasher. It's better than the previous Maytag that I owned for quite a few reasons. One is the top rack. The silverware rack (or at least I think that's what it is for). It removes the necessity of the basket that usually sits on the bottom rack and separates it entirely. Of course, the basket is still included, but I honestly don't have it in my dishwasher at current time. Two is that it quite frankly has a lot of capacity. I'm able to fit a surprising amount of dishes into this dang thing and have it run effectively. Part of this is because of the aforementioned silverware rack. Means I can remove the basket and just have that much more space for random dishes and/or cookware. Three is that this dishwasher is surprisingly quiet. I was expecting it to be noisy just like every other dishwasher I've used, but it isn't. You can obviously still hear it, but it's not loud at all. Both of the folks that I live with remarked this when I ran it for the first time. Fourth is its ability great ability to wash stuff. Everything has come out very clean since I've bought this. No residue, nothing. The only downside here is that it doesn't have an inbuilt food grinder, so you definitely have to scrape off dishes before using it, but who doesn't do that? Barbarians (and probably small children), that's who. Moving away from that, this dishwasher has SmartThings functionality, but I'm honestly at a loss for how this particular functionality can actually be useful in any sense. I'm not entirely certain why anyone would need to control their dishwasher remotely. I guess for the laziest of the laziest or those with mansions? Idk, seems like a waste of design time for R&D. Overall, this is a great dishwasher that functions exquisitely and has the capacity to make life easy. I highly recommend it and wish that my last dishwasher was a Samsung. Quite frankly, I didn't think a dishwasher could function quite this well.

Purchased this dishwasher in Black Stainless in February 2025. I upgraded from a GE dishwasher purchased in 1988, so I was definitely expecting a better cleaning experience, but this thing is incredible. I have affectionately nicknamed it Harry Houdini as it makes food, grime, grease, etc disappear with little to no pre-wash or rinsing required. I installed this dishwasher myself and it was extremely simple. I do wish important cycles, such as Self-Clean, were available directly on the dishwasher as opposed to only in SmartThings. Regardless, so far I'm ecstatic with my dishwasher purchased.

I also love how quiet the cycles are and the feature where the washer automatically opens slightly to dry. And to tie it all together I can track the cycle on the SmartThings app with all of my other Samsung appliances. Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old dishwasher was taking too long to complete the wash cycle and when it ended the dishes routinely needed to be rewashed. My new Samsung is an efficient and quick. But it's the technology that really makes it stand out. I have a Samsung Smart TV, Refrigerator and stove and I love the fact that information from each of them tie together. I get a notice on my TV, for example, when the dishes are complete. I also am able to track how much energy used and am able to adjust my usuage accordingly.

I love the sleek design without a towel rack and the clean black stainless steel finish. I almost always use the 1-hour express wash and have been really impressed with how clean and quiet it is. The auto-release feature is a great addition for drying, and the SmartThings app makes it convenient to get notifications or adjust settings. After a year of use, I'm very happy with it and haven’t had any issues.
