[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first ventless dryer. After doing some research the first couple of dryer reviews left me wondering. They always say that close still come out damp. Happy to say, their dryer gets it done. One or two adjustments on the front and it will get your clothes dry. Now I can put the dryer in my preferred location without cutting out a hole to the outside of the house. I have used the SmartThings app for other devices but I have to say that the dryer hooks up to the Wi-Fi seamlessly and the smart things app has plenty of functionality including but not limited to letting me know when the dryer is done on my phone. It also has a reversible door which I have not tested yet but seems like it would come in handy depending on where I relocated in the basement. It does have options for everything you would normally dry. The sense dry seems to work well with towels as well. Had a bunch of towels dried no issues. Hopefully this dryer lasts a long time without any issues. Seems durable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this dryer. It's quiet compared to my old dryer and has a large capacity that cuts down the time we spend doing laundry. I also like the fact that I no longer have to deal with vent cleaning once a year, and the laundry room looks neater without the vent pipe. The Samsung app makes it easy to monitor the drying cycle and provides handy maintenance tips to keep the dryer running efficiently. I am curious about the potential energy savings of this dryer versus my old one. The app provides an approximate cost of how much electricity it consumes. So far, I'm pleased with this purchase.

do not buy this dryer. after a month and a half of purchasing new, the dryer started leaking water from the bottom (not from the connections). a few days after that, it started smoking and filled my house with toxic smoke in a few seconds. luckily i was right there and turned it off and unplug it before it caught my entire laundry room on fire. my air ducts are clear and was professionally installed... so i know with out a doubt it's not the dryer and not user error....I still have not been able to get it fixed or replaced...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seems to work just fine, no complaints from me. Large capacity - much larger than the last dryer we had, and seems to dry clothes quick enough. I like the variety of setting options, pretty intuitive as it shows how long each option will run, how high the heat will be, etc with the LED lights on the panel. Much wider range of options than previous dryers I've dealt with.

Easy to use panel offers a variety of drying times and you can set them manually. The dial for loads is even simpler, as you just dial to the type of clotes or load you are drying and then the time is preprgrammed for you.

I have had it with this dryer. It has not dried clothes from day one. I have read the manual and interestingly there is a lot of info about how to fix it!!!! What does That tell you? I have given it the benefit of doubt but I am fed up that it takes hours to dry one load. And I’m not talking a large load!! I shouldn’t have to fix my new dryer and that probably won’t work anyway!!!! Also no light inside-with a black drum!! Try to contact Samsung-good luck. Takes you to electronics

A comfort that appliances such as this item is easy to use yet works even better than thought of. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We live in a duplex and our washer and dryer are in the center of the house so we have roughly a 30 foot vent tube from our dryer to the outside. It's a hassle to keep clean and very difficult to do since its so long. As soon as I heard about these heat pump dryers I just had to give one a try! These are definitely very sophisticated systems, but it works very well! At first I was skeptical that it would double my drying time and things like that. But I was definitely proven wrong! Installation is a breeze, you hook up the power cable, run a drain tube (optional) and you are pretty much good to go! Just make sure you have the drain line running out of the right hose or you will have quite a wet mess on your floor (as we found out). The operation is just as simple and easy as any regular dryer. There are many different settings from normal, to bedding, to towels and things like that. I found that with everything except towels this dryer works just as fast or faster as a regular dryer. Towels used to take a little over an hour to dry in our old dryer, in this one it takes about an hour and a half or maybe a little longer. That's totally fine with me if I save money on energy costs and don't have to clean out a 30 foot tube filled with dryer lint twice a year! There is a little bit more maintenance you have to do on this compared to a standard dryer. The lint trap is a little more complicated (and I'm not sure why) There is an outer and inner filter that has to be cleaned. You also need to vacuum out the coils maybe once a month or so (which onlt takes a couple minutes) There is also a slide out water tank that you have to empty after every couple loads (unless you have a drain line hooked up). overall, this is a great dryer, and I'm glad we decided to give it a try. If you are on the fence, I can tell you that it does work, and works very well!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love new appliances so when we received our new Samsung electric dryer I was so excited to get it set up and turned on. I don’t recall many times in my life I enjoy doing laundry except when receiving a new machine so I washed some clothes just so i could dry them. This dryer has 7.5cu ft of drying s[ace which is pretty large. It’s definitely a large capacity dryer and has 10 drying cycles and 5 temperature settings. It sports duel heaters dries laundry by alternating between two different heat sources, resulting in less overall energy use at lower temperatures. It also has moisture sensors which is really cool and protects laundry from heat damage by automatically shutting off the dryer when clothes are dry. The lint fill indicator tell you when you need to clean it out and you can revers the door which i really like having the option of doing. The smart care app allowed you to troubleshoot your appliance if you need to and Smart Care interacts with your washer and dryer to perform an immediate diagnosis and offer quick solutions. It has tons of dryer settings including heavy duty, quick dry and sanitize which are some of my favorites and I really like the wrinkle release option to get your wrinkles out fast. The dryer dries fast and i like the look and design of it.
