So happy to have this for the outdoors while sitting watching the children play with. I love that it sprays a great distance with no batteries or outlets needed. Love that it has a variety of color choices and good battery life its chemicals safe and content away from the children and its compact nice looking desigm

I purchased this unit in green and one in red yesterday at Canadian Tire. On opening the box we noticed that there was no cover for the thermacell as indicated in the video. How do we get them. I think they would be necessary so that your unit would not get wet in bad weather. I know of others who have bought the same unit and they have a cover. Please inform me on where I can get these covers. I want the covers and Canadian Tire told me they received it this way, i do we get them if i would have known i would have not bought this ones

I bought this to defend friends and family from the onslaught of mosquitos in the fair season at our house by the river. I'm a lucky one that mosquitos don't like, but so many friends and family are feast for the buggers--you can seem 'em swarming around the poor souls! The Thermacell Patio Shield is doing a fantastic job of greatly improving the outdoor experiences of our guests. It's quiet, barely puts out any scent, is unobtrusive, and very easy to use. This is the 3rd Thermacell product I've purchased. The mosquitoes have been horrendous this year. I've spent most evenings and weekends outside rebuilding a boat this summer. My choices were spraying myself with stinky stuff or using the Thermacells. It was a no brainer. I place 2 units - one on each end of my work area and am able to work until dark rarely ever seeing one of those nasty buggers.

I bought this package a few weeks ago with a lantern one as well and the 120 hour refill pack This item works but not for the period stated on the box If there is a lawyer out there I hope we can have a class action lawsuit going for this pricey product that tho it works for maybe an Hour and a half certainly doesn’t work for four hours like it says the mat should They need to create a product that does what I say and quit doing false advertising

We live in a forest and when we purchased this we figured it would only cover a small area. We'll guess what, it works so darn good! We have huge mosquitoes, horseflys, black flies, not once did we encounter them. Amazing product! Thank you Thermacell!

I have been using the halo version of the Thermacell product for a couple years. It works great and as advertised. This year when I decided it as time to start using it again so I loaded it with four new fuel cartridges and new batteries. The unit halo light would not come on. I thought the unit was failing but I tried it again anyway. It still works but the halo light will not come on. I use the light as a reminder to turn it off. Is there anything I can do to correct the halo light?

I am camping in a Provincial park in Canada for 5 months. I have allergies to scents and didn’t want to put nasty chemicals like deet on my skin,so I suffered the mosquitos from May to the 2nd week in June. The mosquitos became more ravenous and seemed to get bigger in size, so I not a got a Thermacell. I can now bbq, relax, eat and drink outside without constantly swatting the mosquitos. It starting working within 5 minutes of starting it and there was not one mosquito on my patio. I love this thing and I tell everyone about it. In Northwestern Ontario, Canada our summers are short so thank you for making my time outside much more enjoyable.

Mosquitoes absolutely love my daughter. And she welts up big time from a mere touch of a mosquito. We use it at our patio table and the mosquitoes just don't come near. Other bugs still find us. But not mosquitos. They just don't come near us. Period. I only wish it had an auto-off setting with a little 'ding' when it needed to be re-set. It's easy to put it under the table and forget it's on.

took it out to see if it would be better in a blind and it was great, normal thermacell has to be clipped on something to allow it to have space under it to breath but this 1 is just right for ground blind use so if I was in charge of advertisement I'd dang sure use a ground blind pic on the box because its not just a patio cell
