I've been buying this Ginger forever and I have definitely noticed when times are good the ginger is a light color and when times aren't so great it's dark. Definitely not as good tasting when it's the dark color bring back the good light color and I will start buying it again. Hopefully the recession will end and I will get the ginger back I deserve. Trust me on this I take it every day in a capsule for arthritis and it works so well but not the dark stuff. It doesn't even smell like good ginger

Does not taste like ginger, we have tried many other brands and this one is the first that doesn't taste right. Will not be buying again.

Good quality and value for the amount in container, just wish it was a little finer ground as is kind of hard to shake out

We use a lot of spices and herbs in our cooking. This is the most economical price we have found for the product. Wish even more variety.
