We got this California King sized mattress to replace a waterbed insert mattress that we had kept way past its expiration date! We expected an initial adjustment period. But from the 1st night, it felt great! It fit perfectly inside our waterbed frame, and was the perfect thickness to let us roll out of bed without landing on the hard sideboards of that frame. The only negative thing I can think to say about this mattress is that the "Law Tag" was nowhere I could find. And the website was of absolutely no help in pointing me to the right spot to look for it. That tag has the serial number of the mattress that the online registration process requires. I ended up calling customer support, and they registered my mattress without that S/N. Still, it would be helpful if the online registration function, knowing which mattress you are trying to register, could direct you to EXACTLY where the tag could be found. Another way to be helpful about this would be to encourage retail store delivery staff to show customers this tag so the S/N could be recorded BEFORE this heavy mattress gets put in its "final resting place". P.S. I'm not writing this review because it qualifies me for entry into a monthly prize drawing (Big deal ... I never win anything ;-) I'm writing it, hoping that someone will actually fix the online website as suggested above. While it is no longer an issue for me, it will continue to needlessly frustrate future customers. You're welcome!

I have had memory foam in the past so I assumed that the #1 brand would be even better. It is actually worse, I don't get how it could be so bad as it feels great at the store and when you lay down but overnight it puts pressures in all the wrong places and you wake up with massive pain. 3 people in our household and we all (and i sleep on anything) woke up in pain after using it for the requested month. Do not get it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always wanted a Tempur-pedic bed, though I've never pulled the plug on buying one because I was a little concerned with price. I finally bit the bullet since I spend a third of my life in my bed and I am so glad that I did! I used to wake up with a little bit of back pain but now that I have a Tempur-pedic, I wake up refreshed and I'm absolutely in love with this bed. The bed is the perfect firmness and I also bought the electronic frame that lets you tilt your head and feet up- it's amazing!

We love our new bed and only wish we'd replaced our old Tempurpedic mattress sooner. We waited too long (13 years) until we found ourselves waking up with aches and pains every morning. After the very first night on our new Pro-Adapt mattress, we awoke refreshed. There was no break-in period whatsoever (even with the "firm" we purchased), just an immediate good night's sleep followed by another and then another. We won't wait until our backs give out again before purchasing our next one. Tempurpedic is totally worth the money for us. (We even bought one for our three-year-old as his first "big boy bed.")

Our previous mattress was a Beauty Rest Black Ice Hybrid model that was comparatively priced (during a sale) and initially felt comfortable enough for us. During the first year I began to experience growing discomfort and at times pain in my hip and leg. Being 60 years old I thought it was my arthritis and began to look at ways to "live" with this mattress. I purchased mattress toppers and found one that worked well (My Pillow) but began to notice a slight sag in the sides of the mattress. I began a warranty claim and received 100% credit for my 4 year old mattress. I did my research (again) and came back to what should have been my first choice all along the Tempur-Pro Adapt Medium Hybrid. From the first night my wife and I fell asleep quickly and soundly enjoying a deep restful sleep. While I cannot make medical claims about the benefits from this mattress I can state that my hip and leg pains have been greatly reduce. Overall we are enjoying the best nights sleep that we have had in a while, it is worth the premium price for the quality and I don't think I can put a value on the sleep quality.

I'm amazed how at how well I sleep on our Tempur-pedic! I have shoulder and sciatica issues; and I no longer wake up stiff and sore. It took a couple of weeks for my body to adjust, but that is expected whenever getting a new mattress. I now sleep so sound, no longer waking up every couple of hours to change position due to discomfort like I did with a different brand of memory foam mattress.

My wife has rheumatiod arthritis. She had been complaining lately that the airbed we'd owned for 19 years was not working for her anymore. We tried out the ProAdapt mattresses and she wanted the soft, while I opted for the medium on a split king with adustable bases. After only one night she said, "I wish we hadn't bought these matteresses." I looked at her with a frown. She continued, "I don't want to get out of bed now." I've had sinus problems all my life. I have found that by elevating the head just a few degrees my nose does not stop up during the night. I can now sleep uninterrupted the entire night.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can not possibly describe how much I like this bed - when I'm away from home I actually miss it. There is no other bed that is as comfortable as my Tempurpedic. This mattress supports my body all over and creates no painful pressure points or uncomfortable body alignments. I've always had trouble getting quality sleep, but since getting this mattress that's changed. I now find that I feel much more rested upon waking. I've had my mattress since Dec. 2018 and I can honestly say it's the best investment of my money. My mother loved it so much she bought one.

It's fine to sit on or just to relax on. When I go to bed to sleep I find myself miserable. Tossing and turning. If I sleep on my back my neck will hurt, if I sleep on my side my knees and elbows hurt. I got an adjustable base. If I try to sleep at different angles with that it just doesn't help. I've had it for a short time but still have not found a comfortable position to sleep on it yet. I have a lot of different pillows to try with it too and I just can't seem to make this mattress work for me. :( We bought a split king. My husband seems to enjoy it and definitely seems to toss way less then I do.

This is my 2nd tempur pedic. 11 years ago I bought a firm classic twin, & it was the first mattress I could sleep on that I never had any pain. For 11 years I used that mattress, & slowly saved up for a new one. I recently bought an adapt medium twin, but it was too soft & gave me pain. So I exchanged it for a firm pro adapt twin, & know that it will serve me well as did my first tempur pedic twin. I will have this one for a long time to come. Thank you for providing such a good product, especially for people with back issues. I only wish it were not so expensive.
