[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m not sure if the bottle that I received was out of the ordinary but the taste was very sour… like it had spoiled. We made sure to shake it like the instructions say to do because otherwise the consistency and color is different. Even after shaking and drinking right away on the same day (the bottle says to drink within 3 days of opening) the taste seemed very off, even served chilled/refrigerated. Again I am not sure if I received a bad batch but I do like the concept of it being dairy free and with lots of nutrients. However because I could not really drink it, I cannot comment on its effectiveness. Overall will sadly to have give 1 star due to this experience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very rich chocolate flavor. Not too thick in texture and I was able to use a pour coffee creamer in addition to the rest of the carton as a regular protein shake. The twist cap is easy to open and close for saving a bit for later.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time trying something from Only What You Need (OWYN). There’s a lot of protein in this small shake at 32g. I always struggle to get enough protein in my diet because I don’t eat a lot of meat so this really helps to ensure I get all the protein I need. I also LOVE that this is dairy free, gluten free, and free of most major allergens and artificial sweeteners/colors/flavors. That is a huge win! The flavor is very chocolately and not too chalky. It has a bit of a strange aftertaste, but I find that is the case for all protein drinks. I can live with that for all the good trade offs in terms of ingredients! I will likely repurchase when I next buy protein drinks.
