The was not appealing.

This is genuinely one of the best tasting plant-based protein shakes I've ever tried and you seriously cannot beat the price for 32g. I can't drink anything with whey for dietary reasons so I began my search for something else and I found this bad boy. As other reviews have stated, if you don't like chocolate flavored drinks then you might not like this but I can't get enough. It's seriously insane how cheap this is for the value you're getting.

I ordered two cases to try because they were on sale and had more protein than some of the others I usually purchase. I will stick with the premier protein shakes. Their taste is far better than these, and there are only 2-3 grams of protein less than these. For the trade-off in taste, I'll stick with Premier. I'm really regretting the decision to purchase 2 cases as I have only drank 3 of 15 on the one case and still have a whole other case to get through.

Don't buy this thinking you are getting a chocolate milk or chocolate milkshake. It has a strange taste, but I like the after taste. I think it is wonderful that I can get so much protein with no carbs on my drive to work. It is worth not having a sugary full of junk. It has real nutrition and I appriciate that! I could do without the seed oil, but I like that they used monk fruit. I will be buying more. I do recommend drinking it cold.

I have bought several cases of these during the past year for my mother who needed additional protein in her diet to help a wound heal. The first few cases were ok but the last three I bought were too thick and you can barely pour them out of the carton as others have mentioned. Don't buy!

Welllll, it’s super thick. When I first attempted to drink the shake, nothing came out. So, I took a peek and then shook it up and it came out in slowwww motion. The taste is just ok. I’ll be switching back to Fairlife for sure once I drink all the Owyn’s up or give them away.

The room temperature shake started off with a whey protein shake taste (even though it doesn't contain whey). The flavor rolls into a slightly bitter tasting monk fruit sweetness with a good tasting cocoa flavor. The cocoa taste is good amount. I added a few ice cubes to it to cool it off. The bitterness is lessened with the temp change. It's not going to taste like your dairy based protein shakes because it's not dairy. It has its own class. I use this as a supplement with food to get my protein in.I drink half of it at a time, saving the other half for later. It leaves a monk fruit chocolately after taste. If you drink it with food it will remove that. The ingredient list, amount of protein and the fact it's allergen free is outstanding.

They have changed the formula - all the reviews saying it is "SUPER THICK", its not true anymore. It is great and a fantastic way to get quick vegan protein. I honestly love these and really want them to keep selling them here at Sam's haha. As a vegan, I feel like I am always nervous my favorite products will cease to exist haha. These are truly a great way to get ethical protein in.

Not bad tasting but still miss Slimfast Carmel latte. Everyone carries chocolate in several brands but prefer dark chocolate or some variety in flavors. Also prefer drinking out of a plastic bottle. Not a fan of the old milk carton style. Good to know it is a healthy option.

Give up the competition-smoothie drinks and enjoy the thick, rich health-in-a-carton that OWYN meal replacement smoothies provide!! I would rather drink these than a milkshake-- and NO GUILT! Lol No other product like these can offer 36 grams of plant-based protein. Not Boost, or Glucerna, or Atkins. The thick rich flavor is surprising. I prefer chocolate, but pnut butter cup and vanilla are also good choices if you can find them.
