It's thick because there's fiber in it and the fiber binds the liquid. Slight aftertaste because there's protien from vegetables in it. The sweetener used is from monk fruit, which is a natual sugar alternative just like stevia (which is from a plant leaf). This is high in many vitamins and especially very high in iron which you may or may not have the sensitivity to taste. Best of all is that it is dairy free and low F.O.D.M.A.P., which means it is extremely easy to digest and easy on the gastrointestinal system. FOR ADULTS ONLY, as the VERY HIGH iron content in this can cause iron poisoning in the young.

Taste horrible

I hate wasting money, but sadly I cannot force myself to drink these. They are like sludge. No amount of mixing makes it better. I squeezed, yes squeezed, the rest of the contents out of the containers and it was basically chocolate slime. All of the shakes in both boxes were like this. Also, they do not taste like chocolate. More like CHALK-o-sludge.

This protein supplement is delicious. It is the first dairy free protein drink I have tried that did not upset my stomach. Whey is everywhere, and I can not tolerate it. Thank you for carrying this product for those of us who are lactose intolerant and gluten sensitive. This product is helping me meet my daily protein goals while recovering from cervical surgery. Sam's club, PLEASE bring in more flavors!!!

I was skeptical about trying this protein shake because of the vegan protein, and I wasn’t sure if it would have an aftertaste. They did not have an aftertaste and was actually really good. This protein shake is perfect for me either mid afternoon or later at night when I need the extra calories for the day.

The was not appealing.

Suuuper thick and the spout isn’t large enough for the viscosity of it. Comes out way too slow. Also has a taste VERY different from what you’re used to. And the bottles have a lingering smell that’s all over my car now. It’s cool that it’s dairy free (?) but not worth it in my opinion.

I ordered two cases to try because they were on sale and had more protein than some of the others I usually purchase. I will stick with the premier protein shakes. Their taste is far better than these, and there are only 2-3 grams of protein less than these. For the trade-off in taste, I'll stick with Premier. I'm really regretting the decision to purchase 2 cases as I have only drank 3 of 15 on the one case and still have a whole other case to get through.

Ive purchased multiple versions of this same shake and some come like a normal protein shake and taste decent, it seems like the ones from sams club use a different formula possibly and have the consistency of pudding. Its very off putting and usually after drinking them my throat feels scratchy.

These are absolutely one of the worst shakes I've ever had! They have the consistency of loose yogurt or cake batter, and the taste and after taste do NOT make up for it. Absolutely terrible. I bought 2 of these on a recommendation, and I shouldn't have. Stick with one you like!
