I haven't found a nutritional shake that I can drink/digest because of a combination of medical issues until now. This drink is the ONLY drink out there that excludes allergens, is high protien, low carb, uses a natural alternative sweetner, AND although it doesnt say so on the label, it is low FODMAP. In other words, it is easily digestable and won't cause gastrointestinal distress for anyone with a digestive gastrointestinal disorder. It also tastes delicious. It is oddly thick, but not a huge turnoff. They seem to have put a little too much gellan/acacia gum and guar gum (thickners).

I bought this without looking at the reviews and regretted it. It's thick and has an aftertaste. I'm trying to mix it with other stuff to finish off the rest of the bottles. There are other plant protein ready to drink protein drinks out there - skip this one.

Flavor wasn’t terrible, the problem is the texture. I put this in my fridge and tried to drink it the next morning. It wasn’t coming out of the container and had to squeeze it into a bowl. The consistency was thinner than pudding but 10x thicker than any drink should be. After eating my protein this upset my stomach a little. It may be the sweetener because protein doesn’t normally upset my stomach. I’m going to stick with orgain and jocko

The room temperature shake started off with a whey protein shake taste (even though it doesn't contain whey). The flavor rolls into a slightly bitter tasting monk fruit sweetness with a good tasting cocoa flavor. The cocoa taste is good amount. I added a few ice cubes to it to cool it off. The bitterness is lessened with the temp change. It's not going to taste like your dairy based protein shakes because it's not dairy. It has its own class. I use this as a supplement with food to get my protein in.I drink half of it at a time, saving the other half for later. It leaves a monk fruit chocolately after taste. If you drink it with food it will remove that. The ingredient list, amount of protein and the fact it's allergen free is outstanding.

I bought this to try because I was ranked so high amongst a well known dietitian.Well..... This stuff is horrible, it's so thick I cant hardly swallow it or pour it into a glass and it's grossly sweet! Iam a fairlife lover but this was cheaper..lesson learned, sticking with fairlife!!!!

TASTES LIKE BROWNIE BATTER! I LOVE IT! THICK, RICH, CHOCOLATEY! I was afraid after reading the mixed reviews, but if you love brownie batter, you will love this! Can't believe no one mentioned that it tastes like brownie batter bc it does. Not too sweet... Just great!! I bet it is good frozen! FANTASTIC!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Just tried this with caution since it was labeled, 'like motor oil.' For those of us who are gluten free, dairy free, and GI challenged to where artificial sweeteners, inulin, and preservatives cause more problems, this is a very good alternative to 'normal' protein shake/meal replacement. It caused no allergic reactions, inflammatory responses or bloatedness. If it's too thick for ya, hey, thin it out with your best liquid milk or even water, and give it a good stir or shake. I gave it four stars because it's still in the first 48 hours.

Don't buy this thinking you are getting a chocolate milk or chocolate milkshake. It has a strange taste, but I like the after taste. I think it is wonderful that I can get so much protein with no carbs on my drive to work. It is worth not having a sugary full of junk. It has real nutrition and I appriciate that! I could do without the seed oil, but I like that they used monk fruit. I will be buying more. I do recommend drinking it cold.

No thank you! We tried these because they were on sale. I use protein shakes to make protein ice cream in my Ninja Creami. Ugh! I tasted it before I started mixing my usual recipe. Bleh! I had to add quite a bit to even get it to taste anything like chocolate. Then added more after I blended because it was still awful. Going to go ahead and use them all because I don't want to waste, but will never buy again!

It's thick because there's fiber in it and the fiber binds the liquid. Slight aftertaste because there's protien from vegetables in it. The sweetener used is from monk fruit, which is a natual sugar alternative just like stevia (which is from a plant leaf). This is high in many vitamins and especially very high in iron which you may or may not have the sensitivity to taste. Best of all is that it is dairy free and low F.O.D.M.A.P., which means it is extremely easy to digest and easy on the gastrointestinal system. FOR ADULTS ONLY, as the VERY HIGH iron content in this can cause iron poisoning in the young.
