The chocolate flavor is okay at first and the texture is smooth and easy to drink, but the aftertaste lingered in a way I didn’t enjoy, even after trying it extra cold and poured into a glass. I love what the product stands for nutritionally and I can see it working well for someone who prioritizes high protein and dairy-free options, but personally the aftertaste is what kept me from fully enjoying it.

If you’re looking for a tasty protein shake I’d recommend the chocolate fairlife. It tastes just like chocolate milk and has the same amount of protein without the gross after taste.

It contains all essential amino acids and prebiotic fiber as well. It definitely tastes like a protein drink still but has a more pleasant flavor than other protein drinks I’ve had. It tastes like a chocolate malt shake. I enjoyed it.
