Zero sugar, and didn’t make me bloat. Super smooth and was nice mixed with iced coffee! Keeps me satisfied until lunchtime! It smelled a little bit weird after opening, but it tasted fine. There was a little bit of an after taste of fake sugar at first but it went away after a few sips. The flavor was pretty good, and it kept me full for a while! The only complaint I have about it is that the texture is kinda slimy. It’s about on par with most of the plant protein drinks I’ve had, if not a little better than some of them! Definitely a solid option for those looking for plant protein drinks.

The taste was ok. But the aftertaste was awful. I did not feel any different after drinking no increase in energy but it could just be my body. I gave a 3 because there are people out there looking for wholesome ingredients and others may love it. But I just can’t get past aftertaste

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pretty decent protein shake has a rich chocolatey flavor with a very smooth texture. It did not bother my stomach at all, which is a plus because some protein shakes. Give me an upset stomach. I’m interested to try other flavors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I actually really enjoy the taste of this protein drink. You can taste a bit of sweetness but it’s not crazy due to the natural sweeteners. You definitely get a chocolaty taste, as well. I prefer to put this in my morning coffee to add flavor and sweetness rather than using a creamed and sugar. It’s a good portion, as well, filling enough to last a little while, but it won’t be a full meal replacement ( at least not for me) overall I recommend this as a protein drink over a lot of other brands.

i saw this item in Sam's and was attracted to this drink as a plant based protein one and decided to try it; flavor is not bad (i prefer the Fairlife slightly more); however, after i started using the drink, i was puzzled by the nutrition label; most of these protein drinks list 30 grams of protein as 60% of the RDA; however, the OWYN label lists 32 grams of plant protein as only 30% of the RDA; i e-mailed the company and asked how more protein on the label (32 grams) could be a lower percentage of daily protein (30%) from other whey/milk based protein drinks; the company replied that while there is more plant protein per bottle than the other whey/milk based drinks, not all of the plant protein is digestible, and thus, the consumer cannot make full use of all of the included protein; THUS, WITH AN OWYN DRINK, YOU ARE ONLY GETTING 1/2 OF THE USABLE PROTEIN FOUND IN A BOTTLE OF A WHEY/MILK PROTEIN DRINK!!! for all of these protein drinks you should understand their nutrition labels; most drink labels treat 50 grams of protein as 100% of the Recommended Daily Value (RDA); however, the RDA for protein is based on a person's weight and their amount of physical activity, so that there is not one RDA value of protein that applies to every person; the general daily dietary guideline for adults is 0.8 grams of protein per kg of body weight (which converts to 0.36 grams of protein per pound of body weight); most nutrition drink labels list 30 grams of protein as 60% of the RDA which would mean that 50 grams of protein would be 100% for the RDA; however, by working backwards (divide 50 grams of protein by 0.36 grams of protein per pound), it means that 50 grams of protein would only be 100% for a sedentary 139 pound person; however, many adults weigh more than 139 pounds, and thus, they would have a greater RDA for protein; for example, an 150 pound person needs 54 grams for 100% of daily protein, and an 180 pound person would need 65 grams of daily protein for 100%; and for a very physically active person and someone who is trying to build muscle, they could need up to twice that amount of the daily protein that a sedentary person needs; also, as people become elderly, they tend to lose muscle mass and need more than the recommended minimal RDA protein; thus, while you should pay attention to the number of “grams of protein” listed per the bottle label, the percentage of what those grams represent for each person's RDA of protein depends on the individual person's weight and daily physical activities;

It is very smooth and flavorful while being perfectly sweet. I am unable to have dairy and this brand has been an incredible way to ensure I am meeting my protein goal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to like this drink. However, it is sweetened with jack fruit which gives it a bad aftertaste. The consistency was very thin since it is dairy free. It is a heavy drink still that does make you feel full.

It’s a bit sweeter than I would prefer, but I just don’t like things that are too sweet. Other than that, it doesn’t taste chalky or like some other protein drinks.
