There’s a bitterness that is hard to swallow in bulk. However, if you foam it up, it pairs well with coffee!

We made sure to shake it like the instructions say to do because otherwise the consistency and color is different. Even after shaking and drinking right away on the same day (the bottle says to drink within 3 days of opening) the taste seemed very off, even served chilled/refrigerated. Again I am not sure if I received a bad batch but I do like the concept of it being dairy free and with lots of nutrients. However because I could not really drink it, I cannot comment on its effectiveness. Overall will sadly to have give 1 star due to this experience.

I'm honestly so impressed by the ingredients, and the fact that this is dairy-free with no added sugars! I know what pretty much all the ingredients are, which makes me feel like this is a much healthier, less synthetic protein option! It was smooth and creamy, and certainly not too thick! Had a nice chocolate flavor to it, too! I did notice a bit of an aftertaste to it, but it i feel like thats pretty par for the course with just about any protein drink on the market.

First, I appreciate that the liquid base is water and not coconut milk like you so often see. The water really allows the cocoa flavor to shine. The texture is fairly thin, but it's not at all grainy or chalky. And there's a good amount of protein so it's perfect for after a workout or if I'm needing a quick lunch. Overall, I really like this!
