I'll probably finish the drink just to get the protein in but I wouldn't recommend buying it. The texture is fine, the taste is just too artificial and too sweet. To be totally honest, the fairlife protein shakes are much better (I understand that those have dairy, that may not be relevant for everyone)

There is an aftertaste that I can't quite get over and makes it harder to enjoy. If you use the protein drink as a coffee creamer, it blends the flavor more and is an extra dose of protein.

Not bad tasting but still miss Slimfast Carmel latte. Everyone carries chocolate in several brands but prefer dark chocolate or some variety in flavors. Also prefer drinking out of a plastic bottle. Not a fan of the old milk carton style. Good to know it is a healthy option.

Yuk!! Something is not right!! First sip was disgusting…thought it was spoiled milk! Tried to keep drinking it a little at a time, thinking it would grow on me. Nope…it remained horrible. Finally just chugged the remaining amount. I have been trying lots of protein shakes brands. This is the worst. I am thinking the entire time I was trying to sip at it, who tested the drink at the company!?!? I didn't read reviews for this…until just now. Came here wondering if I was imagining the bad taste. I don't understand how this made it out of the labs. I normally drink Atkins 30g protein shakes and make the 11 oz last most of my 15 minute drive to work. First few sips of the Atkins was not as good as the Slimfast/Equate Meal Replacement drinks I had been drinking for 10 years, but nothing like this. And after a few sips of the Atkins, decided it was quite good. I have tried Fairlife, Orgain, as I have been switching to Protein drinks. All of them are better than this OWYN drink. What a waste if I can't get Sam's to take back the remaining amount.
