The design and overall appearance is very pleasing. I don't believe a trash can should cost so much money but I suppose that is not something that will change for SImplehuman brand.

living in a tiny nyc apartment I don’t have the space for both trash and recycling and this is perfect! As someone who also has less trash than recycling the different sizing is great :) highly recommend!

We love our new Simplehuman can! It has a great smudge free finish and is easy to open, close, or remain open. Also loving the recycle aspect and that the recycle side is larger than the garbage side!!!

Like most of the reviews, I too hesitated to spend the money and also, like the others who did buy it, I am so glad I did. It looks sleek and does it's job so we'll. Who could ask for more? You'll be pleased!

I love this recycle and trash combo bin. We were always filling up the smaller recycle bins so quickly. The recycle bin is big with a small trash bin.

This is my 2nd dual-complement trash can. The trash size for this style is too small to fit containers/boxes sightly bigger. I like the butterfly dual-complement better.

If you recycle more than you toss, this is a great option! The wide shape works well in my kitchen, and I love that the top doesn’t bump into the wall when it opens. The keep open feature works great while prepping a whole bunch at once!

This trash and recycling can is worth the money! I love it and am very happy to have ordered it. We use the larger side for recycling and the smaller side for trash. Some sample bags were included and they fit nicely.

I have a small kitchen & this is just a little bit bigger than my original single compartment simplehuman. Eliminates the clutter of recycling by having it all in one place. Great buy
