The way the space is divided is perfect for my household that generates little trash. But I reduced this by 1 star for it not being compatible with the Compost Caddy add-on. Seems a natural pairing in the battle to redirect household waste.

Being rural, I wanted to start recycling and compost. This can helps to remind me to separate cans, burnable items and compost materials while looking great in the kitchen. Very functional.

This is a nit, but bag storage in the larger model is superior - in this model, you have to come up with your own solution. Other than that, no complaints

I love my trash can. It has a bin for recycle and one for trash all under one lid. Kids and hubby recycle now. Dogs no longer get in the trash either. Thank you customer service representative for suggesting this specific can for my home. Love it!

This was a Xmas present for daughter and son in law. They specifically asked for this. It arrived in time for Xmas however the can is dented and now has to be returned. Very discouraged.

Amazing trash receptacle. A must have for the midsized to large kitchens. Aesetically pleasing and modern. Does not take up alot of space. Very happy with my purchase.

the trash container is too small for us. an equal size between recycle and trash would have been better. however, selling different size trash bags was probably the motivation.

The design and overall appearance is very pleasing. I don't believe a trash can should cost so much money but I suppose that is not something that will change for SImplehuman brand.

I bought a simplehuman trash can for myself more than 10 years ago, and it still looks great! Now I bought another one for my oldest son, who got his first apartment. It looks awesome, very stylish!
