It's a nice design, good quality and the containers are easy to remove. I like that it keeps things separated. . Also a nice size without being too bulky

Good quality and functionality. Biggest observation is the bags...but not the normal "they are too expensive." I'm surprised that for as high end as simplehuman is, that they don't sell compostable bags for all of their products.

This is my 2nd dual-complement trash can. The trash size for this style is too small to fit containers/boxes sightly bigger. I like the butterfly dual-complement better.

the trash container is too small for us. an equal size between recycle and trash would have been better. however, selling different size trash bags was probably the motivation.

This is working out even better than we had hoped. Fits perfectly. Opens smoothly. Lid shuts gently, easy to get stuff I and out of and it adds some class to the kitchen!

The design and overall appearance is very pleasing. I don't believe a trash can should cost so much money but I suppose that is not something that will change for SImplehuman brand.

Very sturdy, space saving design, very easy to use, and it looks great. Very happy with this purchase, and do recommend it. If you have a family buy the larger version.

Smaller than anticipated and ended up taking out separate compartments for one large space. Purchasing larger bags. Looks good but wasted my money.

I love the idea of this trash can, however I think its a bit too small. I definitely wouldn't recommend if you have a family of 2 or more.

The can is beautiful and well built. They only make bags for the garbage side and not one for the recycle side. Makes no sense to me.
