The bone in ribeye is a SPECIAL occasion treat for my husband and I. Sams is our favorite place to purchase them. Caution on the white trimmed fat on the outside edges. The last one sadly had a large hunk of fat compared to meat on the bottom side. Yet, this is the most flavorful steak and I recommend them.

Bought 7 of these after reading reviews. Cooked a couple and they were great. Use salt/pepper or your own rub. I seared mine first then put on indirect heat. No disappointment. Shipped some to Alaska. A true hit. Hope there are more to purchase. The 3lb one was picture perfect. For the price you can't beat it!

These cook up nice. I like to slow smoke for around a hour and a half at 225 and finish up with a 5 minute sear on each side followed with a rest. This steak while around $40.00 is enough to feed my family of three and have left overs. If space is a concern ask the guys in back to trim the bone down. These are great if you like a medium to medium rare steak with a lot of flavor.
