We like the side by side because you open doors and can see everything. No digging in bottom chest. Ice maker and water in door for easy access and doesn't take up space inside. Filter in lower right corner easy and efficient. Outside look is simple and clean with built in handles. Storage space inside and on doors is perfect !

The refrigerator is spacious with with ample room. It has 2 large drawers. The freezer is especially roomy. I have the ice and water dispenser in the door. It is so convenient. I do get smudges on the doors even though its supposed to be finger print free. Overall I'm enjoying my new fridge.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this Samsung side-by-side to replace an 11-year-old fridge that failed with icing issues on the refrigerator side. It works and has more rated capacity (27 cu ft) vs the 24 cu feet of our original machine. But it's a lower trim level than our older fridge. It has fewer drawers (no deli drawer) and didn't gain any shelves, so the effective storage is no better. It also doesn't have a butter shelf on the door - just a standard shelf without a swinging door. Meanwhile, the energy efficiency is rated worse than the original unit, probably due to less insulation.

I do not love the drawers on the bottom in particular and wish there was a deli drawer. One drawer is way too deep and the other is simply not large enough. There is no egg holder or any accessories that help with organization and the door shelves are awkward so things constantly fall over. Otherwise, the fridge functions well and looks good and was a good price.

I love it. the filter at the bottom makes room on the top shelf for my bottles to go to the back of the fridge so it's no wasted space. Just cant get it connected to my SmartThings app...
