To ensure your ice maker performs optimally, consider that your water pressure should be between 30 and 120 psi (206 to 827 kPa). If your water pressure is low, you can install a booster pump to compensate for the low pressure. Your ice maker first dispenses 4 to 6 ice cubes, then you need to wait another 8 hours to dispense another 4 to 6 ice cubes. Then, wait another 16 hours and dispense the first glassful of ice.
