I bought this generator in June 2023, because of the frequent power outages in my area, I could not be more pleased because this generator is just what I need to power my home, and it even has a remote control to prevent trips outside to start. Awesome!

bought this as we live remote location and have frequent power interruptions. Delivery was complicated, but once on site, setup was a breeze. Everything needed for start up is included, even a funnel to make it easy to add included oil. Hooked up a propane tank to it, plugged in the battery and it started right away. Our electrician added a plug /w lockout to our meter base for a quick connection. We are able to run our lights, fridgerator’s, Freezers, & satellite internet, as well as some small appliances. All in all it’s a great little generator.

I bought this when my old generator quit. The power came back on while we were unloading this one. I have ran it a few times and I love it. Especially the remote start. I am looking forward to seeing how much of the household it will run. I am very pleased so far.

After my old generator failed me during our last power outage, I researched a number of generators and determined the WGen9500DF had the highest value. I particularly appreciate the dual fuel and electric start. I always have LP on hand and the electric start provides assurance that my family will always have access to power even if I'm not home. I'm in the break in phase now. Everything has gone perfectly... Delivery, assembly, and use.

I received the box with minimal damage (holes in box). After unpacking the paint on the front panel was chipped off. Two out of the four mounting feet bolts would not screw in due to the threads being stripped! I had to use smaller bolts, nuts and washers to secure that I supplied. I hope it holds up.Customer should not have to do that. There was not parts that could be sent as the threads are threaded into the frame. They would have had to send a new unit which I was not going to go through all that trying to ship this unit back. The unit does not start using push button or remote unless it is warmed up. You have to manually slide choke before starting cold. After warmed up they will start either way. This should not have to be. What's the use of remote start if you have to do that. I ran the unit for one hour and it seemed to run fine.

Did a lot of research before I made my purchase and so happy we went with a Westinghouse generator. The one we got is dual fuel, starts with a push button and tells us the fuel levels. We will definitely be prepared the next time Austin has another snow storm and we lose electricity. Can’t wait to use it!

I've had quite a few generators and in the past and it has helped me figure out what I wanted and needed. This generator has it all. Power, autonomy, remote start and stop, all the outlet types I need and above all, dual fuel capacity. I am more than satisfied with my purchase. I'm not saying that this generator is the best just because it's the brand I've bought, I've done a lot of research (thanks to the Internet) and this generator was always reviewed as being in the top ten in its category. It's what I've been needing and it does justice to its reviews.

Our 18-year old generator no longer runs, and this new generator, with the latest technology (dual fuel) and updated features (electric and remote start) is exactly what we needed as a replacement. Now we don't have to worry if the weather knocks out or power, since we have a reliable, easy to use, and powerful new generator.

Bought this July 9 and decided it was the best option for my family. I am in the process of finding generator cords to hook up 50 Amp And 30 Amp. Note none of your local big box stores will carry the cords you need. I will add photos when it’s hooked up.

Just came today and setup was easy. I hooked it up to propane and its fired right up. I'm going to run a line from my 500 gallon tank to this generator so I will have weeks worth of fuel. I live in northern NY where it gets cold and windy. This will run my whole house! very happy with my purchase!
