Purchased this generator after Hurricane Ian hit and left us with no electricity for 5 days. We should have purchased a generator before thus saving the loss of food in the refrigerators and freezer. The dual fuel capability should help us from waiting in line up to 5 hours for gasoline.

Just received my generator and was really easy to assemble. After assembly I connected up propane to it and used both the push button start and remote start. Both worked perfectly and generator ran a lot of the house. A little learning was when starting you have to have the battery switch on and the main circuit breaker on to get power to the outlets (also the GFCIs on the regular outlets were tripped so I had to reset them).

While it hasn't been needed yet, we are glad it is here for piece of mind, as we do get quite a few power outages, where we live. It went together quickly, and easily, and started easily. The remote is awesome. Couldn't be more pleased. We are confident it will give us many years of service.

Just had to use this for the first time. My power went out and I hadn't even put the oil in yet. Took one minute to put the oil in and connect the battery. Took one more minute to hook up the propane (with the supplied hose) and I was up and running in less than 5 minutes. Ran all the items I needed in my house which included 3 freezers, 2 refrigerators, hot water heater, all the lights, and my AC unit. From what I could tell I had more than enough power.

I bought this to have just in case after experiencing 11 days without power after hurricane Helene. Setup was rather straight-forward, and it test-ran on propane just fine. I don’t plan to hook it into my house, so I bought adapters to run regular outlets for the 240 connectors. It should keep my backup heaters and fridge running continuously if needed, with a few lights and phone/laptop chargers too.

They have have been doing a lot of power line rerouting in our area and there are many days that the power will be off for several hours while they are working. We got this generator to plug into our homes 50 amp inlet to breaker box as a whole home backup. This has not only powered our 3.5 ton AC, but also many lights, fridge, freezer, wifi and computers. The wireless remote start is also a much appreciated bonus. We love this thing.

I purchased this item as part of my emergency backup plan in the event of a power failure. Initial set up was very easy. Electric push button start is a very nice feature. I like the flexibility of either gas or liquid propane for fuel. I have yet to install the house transfer switch or hook the generator up to the house, but I feel confident it will provide all the power I need!

Although not needed in real time use yet, this model has started without hesitation each time it is fired up. The battery has needed trickle charge once but only took a couple minutes to reach starting capacity. Will be a reliable member of the family

I purchased this generator 2.5 years ago for just in case we need situation. As soon I received it, I ran with both gas (ethanol free) and propane through just to make sure everything worked correctly, and it did. Flash forward to this past week when we got hit with a blizzard with 70 mph wind gust snapping power poles and taking out our electricity. I got out this generator and first tried starting it with remote start finding out the battery was dead my fault for not keeping on trickle charger. First, I tried starting on the gas setting and it wouldn't pull start, I'm sure from the gas sitting in for 2.5 years my fault again. So, then I hooked up a propane tank and switched it over, and it started on 3rd pull. After running on propane for 3 hours I wanted try the gas setting again to see if it after running it would stir, free up the gas that was it and I did add some fresh gas to it as well, it started on 2nd pull and ran the rest of the time with no problems. I will definitely drain the gas out this time or add some fuel stabilizer. And of course, put the battery on a trickle charge.

I bought this ( 9500DF) bad boy March 15th 2021 and received it Friday the 19th four days earlier then expected. Only plan on using this if power goes out to my house. Nothing was damaged, not even a scratch so good job by the freight company. Did have to get more oil then what they ship you because it was about 1/2 quart too low. Setting up the key fob was easy. Attached the cord they gave me to my propane tank and to the generator, flipped the battery switch up and BANG, Started right up on the first try with my key fob. Only planning on using gas as a backup if I run out of propane so I can't tell you how this baby works with gas. I would definitely recommend this unit if your looking for this size.
