After carefully researching which generator to go with I ended up deciding on this one. In regards to ease of assembly it was a piece of cake, but i don't think other generators are difficult in that area either. Other than that what can I say, we lost power, we fired it up, and it powered the WHOLE house like it was supposed to. Overall very pleased with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone. It's still early since I just bought it but I have faith I can rely on this to power my house when needed.

The WGen9500DF is a well build portable generator. It comes with everything needed to get you started . Just add oil , hook up propane or gas and go. Mine fired on the first push of the button. Great generator for the money with the high output I was looking for .

I bought this generator a little over a month ago, power went out in my moms house attempted to use it for the first time and motor was locked, power cord did not let me pull it, as well as the push to start option did not work. Followed all instructions of manual. Been trying to use the warranty for over a month but still have not been assisted with getting generator fix/replaced!

When I received the unit, the shipping box was pretty beat up and when unpackaged found oil residue on battery and frame. Stained inside of box. Called customer support and left multiple messages (for a week), and never got a return call. Hope this is not an indication of what type of support to expect for future issues. Was able to add oil and start up first try on propane. Runs smooth and steady at 240 volts.

I received mine yesturday; set up and assembly was very easy.Started up on propane and everything checked out also setup key fob. I havent put any gas in because I don't when I will be using full time. But all the appliances ran well on propane. Ps-- Rolls quite easly Thanks Don

I recently purchased the Westinghouse Pressure Washer and it was very easy to use! After loosing power for six days I wanted to invest in a generator that I could set up and not be afraid to operate! Did my research and read previous reviews and purchased the Duel Fuel Portable Generator. I’m having an electrician install an additional breaker 50 amp breaker and plug installed . Can’t wait to test the system! But the generator is well built and easy to operate

This generator comes with a remote control and that doesn’t make sense. You can’t start or stop the engine unless you physically attach or detach the electrical connection according to the operations manual. Also if running on propane you have to manually turn off the propane gas valve to stop flow. If you simply press start or stop on the remote without making the physical changes you run the risk of damaging the generator and in the case of propane you run the risk of creating a substantial gas leak. I ask Westinghouse what does the remote accomplish?

We bought this powerful generator for the frequent power outages we have in Pa. My wife and I were getting tired of not having any power to our house during these outages, especially no heat. Looking to give this mega generator a shot at keeping our house up and running during our next outage!

I have thoroughly researched the purchase of this generator. Westinghouse Wgen9500df was the clear winner. I am not disappointed. It is extremely well built and everything is right in front of you. Although heavy, the wheel system and handle make it a breeze to move around. I could not be happier. Thank you!
