I had trouble getting power on the outlets (unit started fine). Put in a ticket and got a response from tech support. They sent me a new AVR. As I was swapping out the old one, I noticed one of the wires was not connected to anything (red wire). I guess it was knocked loose somewhere along the way. I reconnected it, fired up the generator and now it appears to work fine. I'll give it 4 stars now since I don't have any data on reliability.

I bought this generator about 2 months ago in preparation for the winter months. The overall setup was fairly easy. It is a somewhat heavy piece of machinery, so keep that in mind. I have not had the chance to use it, but it does seem to be sturdy and decently built.

Yes, it's a bit heavy but still very manageable. I live in Florida and keep it in the garage for hurricane emergencies. To get to the lanai (caged pool area) I bring it thru the house using 5" high portable curb ramps to get up over and down thresholds. Much easier than going thru the yard. Also had a 10 circuit transfer switch installed which will also power a portable a/c unit in master bedroom. Generator runs like a champ!

Fast shipping, there was very little assembly required, sturdy, even has wheels and a pull out handle for easy moving, has everything my husband wanted in a generator for our home/family in case of emergencies like the one last February that left 12 of us in a tiny RV because it had propane for heat. I bought this generator to reace an old genrac 4500 crank style. Needed a generator that and elderly person could start without a lot of headaches. Remote and push button start are just what I needed. 30amp and 50amp connectors are great as well; I only need 30amp at that time being. Took less than 30 minutes to get it setup and running for the break in period. I am happy with the purchase this far; just what we needed.

I did a ton of research for a portable generator. After looking at features, reliability, and customer reviews it became clear this was the right one. I wanted a dual fuel generator that could power most (if not all) of my house in an outage which seems to be happening more and more frequently. The unit arrived well packaged with clear easy to follow directions. Assembly only took a few minutes and it fired right up. I haven't had a chance to run it for an extended time yet but based on the quality build I expect it to do just fine for a long time.

I received my new generator this week. Set-up was quick and easy. It took me longer to unbox it, which indicates how well it is packaged. Instructions are clear and easy to follow. It has awesome safety features. It started easily once I opened the fuel line. (Read all the instructions). The auto start and remote starter are awesome features. It will be another week or two before I have my power inlet box installed, so I have not put the generator under load yet, but with all the other great reviews, I don't expect any issues.

We live off grid and upgraded to the 9500dfc generator to charge our batteries when there isn't any sun. With 8 lithium batteries this generator easily charges our batteries from 20% to 100% within 2.5 hours, while running the house. Generator rarely bogs down. Good product. Should've bought this years ago.

this generator is awesome. Powers my whole RV with no problem and the runtime is amazingly impressive. Run full tank of gasoline and switch to propane for a full days worth plus more of power. Plus the remote turn on and off puts the icing on the cake. Thanks Westinghouse!!!

Awaiting the next surprise power outage but I am very well prepared with this generator. Have started it up a few times to practice. Easy to use and will power a good part of my home in case of a power failure. Nice to have peace of mind in case of power emergency. Solid product.
