Generator came with everything needed to get up and running, just add gas. Started up easy and everything works great. The option to run gas or propane is really nice. This thing is a beast and runs everything I've plugged into it. The push button and remote starting are effortless and the remote has no problem starting the generator from inside my house. The pull start is a nice option in case the battery ever fails. It's a heavy generator so the included wheel kit and folding handle make it easy to move and store. I'm really happy with it and would recommend it to anyone looking to buy one.

Arrived July 20 great packaging easy setup - used propane fired right up. It will make wonderful backup for our fridge and 2 freezers in storage room. Amazed it is quiet compared to our gasoline generator. Electric start is huge for my little wife. Highly recommended purchase.

We received the generator in mint condition, and started to use it right away. We were extremely impressed with the simplicity of the set up and how well the fit and finish of the unit. We opted for the WGen9500DF. It only makes sense to purchase a dual fuel generator, considering that sometimes it’s extremely difficult to storage gasoline, but not with the propane setting. If you leave in a coastal area prone to tornadoes and hurricanes, we strongly recommend this product. You will not be disappointed.

After carefully researching which generator to go with I ended up deciding on this one. In regards to ease of assembly it was a piece of cake, but i don't think other generators are difficult in that area either. Other than that what can I say, we lost power, we fired it up, and it powered the WHOLE house like it was supposed to. Overall very pleased with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone. It's still early since I just bought it but I have faith I can rely on this to power my house when needed.

I love this generator, Super heavy duty. This generator will be more power than you’ll need. With the duel fuel option and multiple ways to start it, I can’t believe it has a remote start! One tip if you buy this generator bring two helpers to lift it, It’s very very heavy. Once you attach the wheels it is very easy to maneuver.

Bought for whole house backup power. Already had 50 amp back-feed transfer switches installed from previous generator. Gas added, it started right up. Plugged it in and tested. About 20 minutes from box opening/assembly to live power to the house. Nice features (I really like the voltage/frequency meter) and included accessories: propane hose/regulator, tool kit, oil funnel, especially the battery charger.

I spent a lot of time doing homework on generators and I am so glad I did. This generator is practically turnkey and is easy enough for someone like me to figure out. It’s a great generator and I’m glad that I picked this one because the price of it is great as well. It’s worth it to do your homework there’s a lot of generators out there, this Westinghouse 9500 DEF is a winner!

After researching many generators I choose this one based on power output and the dual fuel option. Been through many hurricanes. Michael was the last and after losing all power poles in county I saw we had power back in 14 days. Obtaining gasoline was painful, long lines and quarrelsome people. I now have two 100 lb propane tanks and two 5 gallon gas cans. I estimate this amount of fuel will last me about 10 days running 8 hours per day. Filling the propane tanks will be much easier than fighting the gas lines. The generator 240 outlet will connect through a remote receptacle to my whole house switch and run both my well and central AC.

I ordered the generator because we loose power occasionally. Within a week of receiving the generator we lost power for 3 days. Generator worked like a charm the entire time on both propane and gasoline. Definitely recommend this generator! I would 100% buy another if I needed.
