The generator is powerful enough to be a backup power supply for a house but small enough as portable. It is very simple to put together and it starts very easily using either the remote control or Start button on the unit. One wheel is damaged during the shipping (see pictures); otherwise, it would be a 5 Stars for the Overall Rating from me.

After a power outage caused by vandalism and sabotage of 2 electrical substations in our community on December 3, 2022, I knew it was time to invest in a more efficient and convenient generator for me and my family. After researching many generators, I found the Westinghouse 125000/9500DF was what we needed. Two heat pumps, two hot water heaters, 2 refrigerators and a deep freeze, and other necessities…this generator will run everything we need. The dual fuel feature and electric start with a remote was a definite sell for us. Our electrician has everything connected and we are prepared for any outages in the future. I would definitely buy this again but also would recommend it to anyone. Thanks Westinghouse!

I have been meaning to buy a generator for a long time and now I’m happy to have one! Westinghouse has a long history of reliable products so I look forward and trust in this new generator. We live in an area with fires and earthquakes. Our power has been shut off before for safety concerns when Highwinds threaten the powerlines. We also have electric cars so I am very excited to have this back up generator for our home.

Ahead of the hurricane season this year I hurt my back checking aged generators and thought there had to be a better portable product available. I found it with this dual fuel model. The WGen9500DF not only had great reviews, it’s affordable and versatile yet produces enough power on either fuel source to power all our essentials through any outage and the freedom to run off our home propane or gas, non-ethanol preferred.

I needed a generator big enough to run 2 well pumps and some of the house hold during Cala-Unicornia outages. I don't want to mess with gasoline because here we have an ethanol blend that doesn't store well and they won't let us have a gas can with a spout that doesn't spill when you pour. I have so far only tested and it's going to do the job. I plan on connecting to house propane tank during extended outages.

Shipping was super quick, had the machine within a week! Opened the box, installed the 2 wheels, the front rubber legs, added oil, connected battery and ready to go. Propane and gas compatibility amazing for hurricane season. Got 2, 100lb propane tanks and this machine is just what I needed. After reading fantastic reviews and looking and General, Firman and Westinghouse this generator was by far superior. Remote and push button start allows my wife to operate the generator if power goes out and I’m away.

We did alot of research for a generator that would suit our camper. We needed a 50 amp hook up and 6500 watts to run our 5th wheel. The optional built in generator was on back order, this unit has filled that gap. Seriously doubt I will even consider the factory one when it becomes available. Not overly loud, runs smooth and powers our needs for off grid camping. There are alot of choices out there, trust me, we researched them all. This is the unit what we recommend if you need camping power.

Just bought this Generator, due to seeing high reviews for it. Loved the fact that it is dual power, and portable. Living in Florida you really need one. And this one fits all my needs. Would recommend the 9500 dual power generator by Westinghouse to anyone needing one.

The only reason I rated this with 4 stars was because the frame was bent when I received the generator. I had injured my back, so I was unable to open the product for a little over a month, when I did there was no recourse to remedy the situation due to the time that had elapsed. Overall, I am happy with the product.

This generator is very compact with a great layout of controls. Great price for what you are getting. I was surprised at how compact it was and how easy it is to move around. Very good possibility that I would have given it 5 stars if I had used it but I have been waiting on some information and have not been able to run it yet.
