Right out of the box, I put oil in it, a gallon of gasoline, and it started right up. The remote also was pre-programmed and works also. Several items I think are noteworthy but not necessarily a criticism. Oil filler is awkward to remove, whereas it is right in line with the battery cables. Secondly, it would have been useful to know exactly how much oil it took. It says in the manual, 1.1 (L). I do not believe that to be accurate. The tires are not going to perform well on wet grass. The manual states it should not be operated in the rain. Also, it says the generator should not be operated in an enclosure. Where do you think people are going to operate a generator in an emergency? I bought it for hurricane season, so I cannot leave it outside? Do I build a shelter for it? This is the one question I want an answer to. I think overall I am going to be pleased with it. I am having an electrician wire in a transfer panel and by my own estimations, it will power my whole house. BEFORE I need it, I will certainly plug it in and just see what the capabilities are. I liked that there was very little assembly. Directions on how to use the generator was easy to understand. Generator started up and ran great. The only thing I disliked was the generator is very heavy until wheels were put on. I would recommend this generator to my family and friends.

I bought this generator only couple of weeks ago after extended search and checking, reading many reviews . Wgen9500DF always come out on the top or close to it. Unpacking and assembly was a snap. Oil included and the battery was charged. Electric start at first time did required the setting of the choke (The Quick Start Guide didn't ask for it) but then started right away. Load testing at ~2kW went fine, the engine idled and rev up nicely as the load came on line and cycled. Since the generator just a fairly expensive insurance policy against outages the real value of it I'll learn later, preferably much later. Until that I cannot judge reliability or peak-load performance. The generator has a good array of outlets and safety features. I like the digital display however a watts readout function would be useful. I'm not sure the real life value of a remote starter since you have to turn on the fuel valve somehow, but nice to have one. Overall I'm very satisfied for now and hope it will stay that way.

I bought this generator to reace an old genrac 4500 crank style. Needed a generator that and elderly person could start without a lot of headaches. Remote and push button start are just what I needed. 30amp and 50amp connectors are great as well; I only need 30amp at that time being. Took less than 30 minutes to get it setup and running for the break in period. I am happy with the purchase this far; just what we needed.

After experiencing a weeklong power outage in the middle of winter, I purchased this generator to run our RV trailer and keep the house appliances i.e., refrigerator, freezer, security lighting etc. powered. It took about 30 minutes to unbox and prep the new generator for use. I hooked the generator up to propane pressed the auto start button and on the fourth try it fired up. I hooked all the aforementioned items to the generator, there was ample power to run all. The setup is super easy, the instruction manual is great with easy-to-understand guides. If there is a fault to this generator it would be that it is a loud when running. A better noise reducing muffler system would make the generator perfect. That being said I am very happy with this purchase.

I bought this generator to supply power to our house during power outages and also for powering various farm tools where power is not available. I like the electric start and the duel fuel as I have propane tank right next to house. It appears to meet all my needs. I've started it and ran it for 1 hr. to break it in. Easy set-up and instructions.

We bought this generator to replace one which was 24 years old. I was pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to get it set up and running. It has so many new features which were lacking on the old generator. When we lose commercial power, we just hook it into our 1,000 gallon household LP tank, and then we can run it until the cows come home. Although it is a dual fuel model, I don't anticipate ever running it on gasoline.

purchased this item after hurricane ian, once arrived, assembly required minimal, and once filled with oil, fuel and battery connection made starting was a breeze. just make sure choke is in the cold start position. tried all methods of starting, worked as expected. was especially surprised at the ease of pull start. very happy with purchase to date.
