Ordered as a replacement for a different brand generator. This is manufactured with much better quality, comes with better documentation and components, and easy to put together. Came highly reviewed and recommended and expect great use for the foreseeable future.

This generator has it all. Comes with everything to get you going right out of the box. Very good quality, Remote start, you cant touch a similar generator for this price. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. Thank You Westinghouse, and your local!

Delivery guys were great and on time. They moved the box into the garage where I needed it. The actual box was in perfect condition. The generator and all of the parts were neatly packed in an orderly manner. It started right up on propane and gas using the key fob and the electric start with no hesitation. So far I'm very happy with it!

I ordered a whole House generator in April and it hasn't arrived yet. Going into winter, I decided to get a portable for emergencies. With all the power on this unit, I wish I hadn't bought the whole house unit. This will handle all of my needs at a fraction of the price.

I bought this 2 weeks ago and within a couple of hours I was able to get the generator providing power to our home. Assembly was easy and all of the features make things so much easier. Like the provided battery charger and charger port and remote start/stop key fob. The covers on the outlet also provide a level of protection and keep connection clean.

I bought to run our whole house as we live in rural Ohio and get frequent outages. We had a switch installed to cut us off from the grid and run off generator power. When we were ready to see how it worked. Remote switch worked well and it fired right up. Easy to get up and running. Handle that was built in to help move is fantastic and great foresight. Have only used off of gas so far but will try LP as well. Much more quiet than I would have guessed for such a powerful generator. Everything except our electric heater was able to be run (5 bedroom 3 bath home). Will have to mess around with power draw to see what can be used at one time simultaneously. Would definitely recommend to others.

My neighbor purchased the same unit a week ago during a power outage and it ran perfect for 3 days. It handle all his homes power needs without any problems. So I decided to purchase one. After test running it on my house it ran perfectly and handle all the power needs at my house. So many features - great generator

Totally surprised on the quality of this 12500/9500 generator. The control panel is so convenient with all the information and access you need. I did a lot of research on several generators and kept coming back to the Westinghouse and so glad I did.

First off, the shipping was terrible. They left it by the road 1/4 mile from my home in the mountain and I had no way of knowing that they had delivered it. It came 2 weeks early and if it weren't for a neighbor telling me about this box out on the road, it would have been stolen! Secondly, the generator is very cheaply made and I don't expect it will hold up under anything more than mild usage on rare occasion. Thirdly, the generator is difficult to start manually on propane. It has to be choked, even though, with electric start, choking is not necessary. Fourthly, the start sequence is processor controlled, which means, if the processor is ever compromised, it would render the generator useless unless a bypass was engineered. Fifthly, the starter made a strange free spinning sound on my first remote start-up. I checked the remote start from over 100 feet away and it started fine. Under a load test the generator preformed well. It is way too early to tell if the generator will stand the test of time.

Just purchased this generator, and of course the power goes out at 4 am , my husband and I decided to un pack and set it up with flash lights & a few battery operated lights , it didn't take long to set it up an hour & 1/2 max. It started right up , as soon as we got it running the power came back on . We decided to hook it up to the home anyway. Plugged it in , shut off the main to the home , switched the breaker for the gen. Boom it started right up with no problems. Great purchase . I'm sure it will get plenty of use.
