The dual fuel feature generator is very attractive living in Florida. Options are important during power outages when gasoline may not be available at gas stations. The generator comes with a battery charger which I connected to power after installing the wheels, The charger shows a red light during the charging operation and it turns green when the battery is fully charged. My remote was already paired, but the manual provides instruction for pairing the unit with the included remote. Not as noisy as I had expected for the amount of power it produces. Everything is working as expected, and I have noticed that the engine runs very smoothly, even during this initial break-in period - as I'm getting it ready for its first use. Overall, the Westinghouse WGen9500DF impresses with the quality solid-build and I am very satisfied with this purchase.

So glad I purchased this generator. I was going to purchase the smaller Westinghouse generator but after talking to their customer service representative and for a little more money, I opted for this one. Firstly the delivery was right on time and there were two men delivering this and they were very careful as I watched them from my doorbell camera. As far as the generator, it was packaged very well and nothing was damaged or missing. Super easy to set up. Just installed two wheels and two legs and that’s it. Read all the literature and user manual before using and you’ll be good if you follow the instructions. The generator started right up with no issue. As far as power, this thing ran my condos a/c although it’s a smaller unit, it had no problem powering it as well as lights fridge and tv with ease. Make sure you check all the appliances power consumption ratings to make sure you’re within the proper range. I decided I would take it to my shop to try my welder on it. The generator rolls very well and I had no problem wheeling to my shop behind my house. Again this generator met the challenge with ease. This has many perks ( electric, remote and pull start as well as dual fuel etc ). I emailed Westinghouse’s customer service prior to purchasing to ask a few questions and they replied right away. You can feel confident buying this generator. Westinghouse has a great product and their customer service is spot on. No regrets here.

I have only had the generator one week but so far it's great. Set up was very easy and the instructions were good however it seemed like some of the steps pertained to another model. Getting it up and running took only about 30 mins. The push button start and stop worked perfectly. Almost looking forward to a power outage to fully test it out!

I bought this because it had everything i needed and then some. great options and love the duel fuel option as a great backup. Im going with 4 stars because the box came with oil leaked all over the side and the generator was covered as well. also had a dent on the top. A little irritated that I spent over 1k and have to deal with the little things like this.

I picked up the generator, was easy to set up. Needed more oil than came with it by just a little. Started up fine with electric start and remote. Have not tried it on propane yet. We purchased this to run part of our house as we live in a rural area that looses power in winter at times. So far very happy.

This generator has it all, the best bang for your buck. Dual fuel and has a remote start and stop so you don't have to step out in bad weather what more can you ask for. Assembly was easy and hooking up to fuel was a breeze. Remote worked like a charm. I really did my homework on the generators out there and this one won hands down. So glad I purchased.

Right out of the box this Genny started right up. When I was researching Genny's before buying, the reviews said the batteries arrived dead so had to be charged before testing. Well mine arrived with a full charge and we hooked a 25 pound propane tank to it pushed the start button and she started right up. I use mine for a whole house generator for power outages and about three weeks after getting it all hooked up the power went out and was out for about 6 hours. I have it hooked up for manual switch over , and I had no trouble at all she started right up and ran like a charm until the power came back on from the power company and then I switched her back to house power. I run a refrigerator freezer and a deep freeze I would normally have AC but we didn't use it that day, coffee pot, toaster and a toaster oven, flat screen TV, couple of laptops, cell phone chargers, and a water fountain for the dogs,. I have a lot of other appliances too but we don't use them unless we absolutely need them. I had a highly recommend this dual fuel Westinghouse generator especially if you need one for a whole house generator. I'll be building I'm sort of a dog house around mine with open ends so that it can breathe when it's running but it will be covered to keep the elements off of it and it'll have a door that opens on the front so that I can get to controls

I bought this generator in case of power outages and so far it has been running very well. I'm very pleased with the noise output given how much power this generator puts out. Has started on the first press of the start button every time! Overall very pleased with the unit and its performance with both fuel types.

Unboxing is super easy. Hooked up to my house and it will run all lights, outlets, fridge, and hot water heater. It is not enough to run the main ac/heater but I can use the stove and washer/dryer if I turn off most other non essentiel items during use. It is definately the more cost effective option if you can live with calculating the load before using your major appliances.

I just purchased this generator and no issues right out of the box. This a powerful little generator. I had no problems putting it together, everything fit up perfectly, no problems with the oil, and it is far quieter than I expected. I am pretty pleased with this purchase.
