After extensive research, I decided on the Westinghouse Dual Fuel Generator. I will warn you right off the bat, this is a Top Quality "HEAVY" Generator. You will definitely need help picking up and unloading the unit. Everything you need is in the box. It was very "EZ" to attach the wheels, hook up the battery and add the oil. I went on U-Tube and watched a video of the installation and learned a few short cuts. I have everything ready to go when needed. The biggest draw for me was having the Dual Fuel options available. If you live off the grid or down the street from Wal-Mart, power loss is very real. I highly recommend this product.

I recently purchased the Westinghouse WGen9500df. after following the instructions, filling it with gasoline and oil, and pairing the remote (which was pretty straight forward) It started up promptly and ran for 4 hours as part of the 5 hour break in period without a problem

Purchased to use as a backup home generator. It works exceptionally well. The dual fuel capability provides excellent capability for any longer term outages. It was very easy to get up and running and provides plenty of power. The User Manual is very detailed, and at the same time, very easy to understand. I would recommend highly recommend this generator.

I am so glad I bought this generator. It is amazing. It works great and came in clutch when our power was out for a few hours. Having the option of gasoline or propane is also great. I prefer gasoline. I love it so much I bought a second Westinghouse but with fewer watts. I recommend this product.

Once home, putting on the wheels and supports was a breeze. I did have to ask why the battery was dead and not charging. Support came back very fast and let me know what I had to do to connect the battery-quick connect as they has a small change in packing. Other than adding fuel and oil, no other assembly was required. Started right up. Hooked it up and put in under load with gas then propane. Love the battery start. Tested the remote from upstairs and across the house - works great and powers everything I wanted in my 3-story house.

Bought this generator the day after we got power back. We were without power for 7 days and said we won't be without power again. We figured we needed bare necessities to survive but the fuel consumption (approx. .55gph or .67gallons of propane per hour) is the same as smaller generators (5kw generators). So for a little additional upfront cost to get the bigger 9500w you can have all the power you could want while using the same amount of fuel and know you will never be underpowered. Also got the dual fuel because we found during an emergency gasoline is hard to find and you can run a grill propane bottle for about 7hours which will buy you some time for gasoline to become available to switch back to. The generator will scare you because you will push the start button and it cranks for a long time and sometimes you have to push start again for another cranking cycle but I guess that is just a characteristic of this generator. It has always started it just cranks for a long time before it fires up. Once it is running it is quiet and the wheel/handle kit is great for moving it around! Great purchase, I feel so prepared for any storm now.

Just purchased. Easily assembled, easy to follow directions. Has generated a lot of interest. So far, six different neighbors have stopped by to check it out. Great interest in the Dual Fuel capability. Also the fold down and away handle is a big hit. Nests away in a relatively small space in garage corner.

I bought it in 5-19-2021. Got it out of the box and set it up. Should have tried to run it a year later I lost power and tried to use it and it would not start, would not even fire. With my health failing I never got around to doing anything with it. Now I’m trying to find a service provider to look at why it will not run. I still think it is a good generator and I’m just having a minor problem I hope.

Received 9500df generator in excellent shape one day faster than promised. Unit looks great. Assembly was easy. Have not run unit . It will be set up to run on natural gas unless we experience an emergency power outage in which case we will use propane or gasoline.

I bought it this past week, and the install was easy and clearly instructed. I tested the system and it started right up. I never thought I’d be excited to have a power outage. I really appreciate all the features on this model and for a great price. Came with everything needed to even install the wheels, change spark plugs, and the oil.
