Living in a rural area we sometimes loose power, this really has an impact on us because with out power we don't just loose electricity but we also loose our water supply seeing how our well does not operate. Hence the reason for our purchase. I spent days researching generators and Westinghouse won hands down. It was so "simple" to to get this generator online and in use. Our generator has the capability to power all our appliances when we loose power. The unit is quite, with our doors and windows closed the generator sounds like a lawn mower and not like a generator. Our unit came with a remote start that if needed I don't even need to go outside in a storm, and this generator can be powered with either gasoline or propane.

With the power outage issues that the state of Texas continues to experience into 2023, I bought this WGen9500DF dual fuel portable generator to provide emergency backup power for my small 3 bedroom house. Setup was easy enough for this 65 yr old man and I had it assembled & running within 45 minutes. Electrician installed Inlet Box and main fuse panel’s Breaker Interlock for my application. Now when a power outage occurs, I can have full backup power within minutes. This Gen supplies adequate power using propane fuel with no need for gasoline fuel additives or fumes when stored long term in my garage. It powers my frig, attic furnace, 1.5 ton A/C and my tankless hot water heater, as well as every other circuit in the house. I’m pleased with the overall solution this Gen provides.

After carefully and thoroughly searching for a generator, I kept coming to this one due to the ease of use, the great reviews and the remote is a bonus for my wife to use when I'm not home. It has everything I was looking for in a generator plus added things I didn't think I needed. I'll be ordering the ST Switch soon to complete the system. Very happy and pleased with this WGen9500DF. I had to wait awhile due to being on back order. Then the box was damaged when delivered. I refused it and it was taken back and immediately taken care of by the company I purchased it from. Last I had to wait for an electrician to install it. With all the power shut offs by PG&E.We have had three more and more to come during fire season. The first one was three days. It was impossible to find any here. Then every electrician was installing generators. I had to wait in line for 2 months. It was all worth it. The generator ran more than I thought it would with no problem. We were not sure if it would run the air conditioner in the house. IT DID! YES! A large freezer, a refrigerator, all the lights, three TVs, Microwave, blow dryer. Not the washer and dryer, or the stove and oven, in a 1400 SQ foot tr-level. It will cover the pellet stove in the winter also. Truly pleased. The electrician was not sure if it would run the air conditioner. Everyone who sees it likes it!!! THANK YOU.

Bought this recently as a back up genset but now it’s the primary. Connected the generator to my household propane tank and it runs like a champ! Tested it and it runs the house (well, ac, etc). One benefit of this generator is it’s easy start capability. My wife can start and stop it if I’m not at home and that’s important. And for a portable genset I found this to be quieter than my older model. We could actually have a conversation while it is running. Bottom like is that I would recommend this genset.

First, it is well made and it comes well packaged. Second, it has everything you need, battery, oil, funnel, spark plug wrench, wrench to bolt on the feet, propane hose and battery charger. Third, It took me only 20 minutes to set it up. And finally , It starts easy with one pull or you can use the remote. I’ve owned three generators and this is my favorite because

I had read several reviews of portable generators and this one definitely was on par with the reviews. It will be a welcome addition to our household when the power goes out. So far, it has powered everything we have tried with little strain. I would recommend anyone look into this model. The price is excellent.

I bought this unit a couple of months ago and just got around to having an electrician wire the house. Shortly after the unit arrived in early March I started it up using propane (after reading the manual) and it ran beautifully. Today when I tried to start it for the electrician it would not start on propane...crazy. I put gas in it which I didn't want to do. It started and ran on gas and it ran my whole house. The disappointing thing is that I called the service hotline on a Saturday morning to ask someone for help. It was an answering service and they said that someone would call me during normal business hours next week. So, if there was an emergency and you needed to use your generator on the weekend there would be no assistance. The woman on the phone said they would give me the nearest service location to take it to. So beware because I would consider this a major missing link in their system. Maybe others are the same. I'll see what happens next week...when I'm at my full time residence...200 miles from the generator.

I bought the 9500 DF about a month ago. It had severe transport damages and was instantly replaced with a new generator. The 9500 DF was easy to set up and performed perfectly from the first moment on. Great feature: Dual fuel lets the generator start and run on propane and/or regular car gas without interruption.

Easy to assemble, was less then an hour to take out of box and get running. I have only used for about an hour at very low load but it worked great. Started multiple times and changed load. Will test more over the next couple of weeks but very happy so far. Did not use propane yet but hook up looks simple.
