I live in a very hurricane prone area of south Florida. It's no fun to have no power for days after a storm...95 degrees with high humidity. I purchased the 9500 duel fuel generator, capable of running my entire home if need be. I choose this model due to all the good reviews. I had an electrician install a transfer switch for it. It was set up and running in no time. I haven't had to use it yet, but it gives me great peace of mind to know I have something reliable that will make the next storm or hurricane not as devastating.

This generator was highly recommended by our electrician who has one at his home. He said this model was the best product for the money anywhere. I am really impressed by how easy it is run and how easy it is to do regular maintenance- like changing the oil, etc. I would recommend the WGen9500DF to anyone in the market for a dependable and affordable home generator.

Just purchased this WGen9500DFc for camping and backup power at home. Removed from box and assembled what little there was to assemble it. Great looking generator and seems to be quality built. I haven’t ran it yet but will soon. If I find any negatives I’ll report back so if there are no edits then it’s safe to say it’s working great for me.

We bought this generator for the upcoming hurricane season. We already have our transfer switch set up and ready to go. We have texted the generator already and it runs like a champ. I love the fact that I can use both propane or gas. I don’t see myself using the remote start but it is neat option. I do really like the push button start, very easy to use and starts up immediately. We are very happy with this purchase.

It's dual fuel functionality makes it easier to choose from your prefered fuel source. I opted to hire an electrician to install a transfer switch. The test was a successful one. Bought this generator to power our 2500 sqft house for the winter in case we lose power. Seems well built, starts easy on propane or gas. Easy to move. Just add oil, hook up the fuel, plug the battery in and it's running. So far well worth the money.

I bought my duel filter generator earlier this year. It has been a wonderful addition to my list of tools. I has all of the features I need, and powers everything I have, and can power my home, if needed. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a generator!

I've used this generator for about 200 hours now; 90% on gasoline, 10% on propane. I have used it mainly on gasoline because the propane did not work for me at first because I had the wrong propane hose. Make sure you buy a hose with a regulator. The pros are the electric push button start, the remote key fob, the dual fuel capability, and the detachable wheels. Also, it starts reliably every single time with one push of the button. Continually, it provides adequate power for my needs. Rarely am I tripping the breaker. The cons include its weight, lack of an eco mode switch, its loudness, and its poor fuel consumption. It seems to be running at 240v at all times. I wish that it would know to only use 120v to save on fuel consumption. I wish that there was a secure attachment that could be used to lock the generator more easily rather than having to wrap a tow chain around it over and over. I'm going through like 5 gallons of gas in about 6 hours and that's ridiculous for me. All in all, if you need a generator with this much capability and power then by far it would be great for your needs. However, I do not need it for this use so I will be selling this item and buying a smaller, quieter generator.

The generator arrived 1 week early in good condition and easy to set up. All parts needed for assembly of the wheels were included and easily installed. The battery was fully charged and the terminals snapped together quickly. To my surprise the generator was easy to move around in spite of its weight. Very impressed with most of the design features and what is included. Such as the fuel gauge, hours counter dual fuel switch and battery charger. The only design feature that needs improvement is the location of the 50amp receptacle which is placed directly over the wheel. Since a 50 amp cord is as thick as a large anaconda, a male plug on the end of the power cord which is offset by 90 degrees cannot be plugged in to the 50amp outlet on the generator without either removing the wheel or by adding an extension plug which provides the necessary clearance.

I just received and unpacked my new generator. It was easy to set up. After the experience of dealing with Helene, I am glad I ordered this generator to give me some comfort that I will be able to weather the next hurricane/tropical storm with the help of back-up power should I need it
