I just received and unpacked my new generator. It was easy to set up. After the experience of dealing with Helene, I am glad I ordered this generator to give me some comfort that I will be able to weather the next hurricane/tropical storm with the help of back-up power should I need it

I was originally going to get a Generec generator. Then I saw this portable generator with push button start and dual fuel option. Tested it and it works great. Hopefully won't have to use it but when I do I know I'm covered for power. It also looks great.

My last generator was purchased in 2005 after hurricane Katrina. It finally died after all this time. I was looking for somethings in my new generator purchase. I wanted to get electric start and a larger capacity generator. This ginny exceeded my expectations. The set up after receieving it was very straight forward and easy. Afterwards I started it up and it ran just fine.

I have not started this up yet but so far, I am very pleased with my purchase. Product was delivered to my home seven days after ordering. Way sooner than expected. Everything was well packaged with minimal assembly required. Good manual, and parts drawing included.

After the latest string of power outages, we decided to get a larger generator. I read all the reviews on the 9500 DF and we decided to purchase it. Right out of the box, I could tell this was a quality product. Being an RV technician, I have the access to the proper cables and plugs to plug right into my house and power it during our many power outages every year. It's not too loud for all the power it's packing and the remote start gives me even more flexibility. I look forward to being more prepared thanks to our new generator.

I just bought this a few days ago. I did alot of research for a portable generator that I can power my house with . I think its the best bang for your buck , its dual fuel, comes with battery, wheel and handle kit, has a fuel gauge, battery charger, comes with oil and a little tool kit and and a key fob or remote start

I had to study up on it for a while and the manual has a couple of errors (for example, there is no ECO mode switch), but once I learned everything, the machine worked very well. I especially like being able to run it on either propane (my preference) or gas.

Purchased this generator to help protect my home from weather related power outages in Florida. It arrived well packed and in excellent condition. The instructions were easy to read and understand. Took about 45 minutes to unbox, install the wheels, front supports, and propane hose, and fill with oil. Used the remote to start it and it fired right up. Construction seems very good, and I believe with proper maintenance this generator will give me many years of reliable service...

I looked at other reviews before I purchased and will all the positive reviews I jumped; I couldn't be happier. The set-up was a breeze, the quality was excellent right down to the hardened plastic no flat tires with the ball-bearing hubs with the quick-disconnect pins. I filled with oil and gas, hit the start button and after three cycles the system fired right up. I tested the stop and then hit the start again and if fired on the first try. I ran it for 5-hour to get it past the break-in time and very happy with it so far; I hope I don't have to use it but what I can see so far it will be sure to work when I do. I got this for my father-in law and now I will be buying a bigger one for me but it will be a Westinghouse.

Right out of the box, I put oil in it, a gallon of gasoline, and it started right up. The remote also was pre-programmed and works also. Several items I think are noteworthy but not necessarily a criticism. Oil filler is awkward to remove, whereas it is right in line with the battery cables. Secondly, it would have been useful to know exactly how much oil it took. It says in the manual, 1.1 (L). I do not believe that to be accurate. The tires are not going to perform well on wet grass. The manual states it should not be operated in the rain. Also, it says the generator should not be operated in an enclosure. Where do you think people are going to operate a generator in an emergency? I bought it for hurricane season, so I cannot leave it outside? Do I build a shelter for it? This is the one question I want an answer to. I think overall I am going to be pleased with it. I am having an electrician wire in a transfer panel and by my own estimations, it will power my whole house. BEFORE I need it, I will certainly plug it in and just see what the capabilities are.
