After much pre-purchase investigation online, comparisons to various competitor's similar product suggests that your WGen9500DF is likely the best choice and better value. Primarily considered engine displacement, sleeved cylinder, wattage, weight, portability, fuel consumption, noise level, outlet receptacles, dual fuel, battery charger, remote start & price. Much faith placed in Brand Name of widely known American company, with promised Lifetime Technical Support. No setup or startup problems. Still running in initial break-in period, and haven't yet applied heavy loads.

Generator arrived well packaged, undamaged and with all parts and accessories including engine oil and battery charger. Easy assembly and well written instructions. Have not run generator yet but appears ready to go out of the box after putting on rear wheels and front foots.

Purchased this unit because I trust the Westinghouse brand and because it was a good price. Pleasantly surprise the setup was easy and the unit started right up. Only negative was the level of noise, but that is expected with this type of generator.

We haven't had to use this yet but it came highly recommended by coworkers of my husband. He looked at a lot of generators and is a mechanic and decided on this one. Started up great. We hope we don't have to put it to too much use but are relieved to have it if needed.

I like the dual fuel capability. I use this generator once a year in a remote cabin site in Wyoming, so the dual fuel option is a plus. It provides plenty of power for the daytime projects as well as maintaining our solar battery bank when its needed. I haven't used it extensively yet note the 4-star rating.

I purchased a 950 k DF with out CO2 ,, sensor warning, What a well built unit for sure, After a few minor kinks I spoke to Westinghouse and within 2 days I had the replacement parts needed to make things right. Thus far I have tested this unit on both LP and gas, it's nice to be able to switch on the fly . I did note when you add the oil 1 Qt provided, when you check the oil level it's still a little low so I just add a little more until it showed in the safe zone, I also noticed in colder weather ( teens) it is difficult to start , however it will start up on LP just fine and you can switch right back to fuel if you wish. I will investigate further, The very good point about dealing with Westinghouse support thay indeed work to make things right. Myself I would not hesitate to purchase further with a Westinghouse product..Lastly if you receive a unit that has a default issue a lot of times damage is done during shipping.. Lost power 9/26 topped off oil and added fuel been running ever since and gett about 12 hrs on bottle of propane. Started right up and hasn't skipped a beat , would highly recommend and won't ever be without one again. Thank you for a quality product!

I bought this generator without the expectation of using my 3.5 ton A/C durimg an outage, but.....VOILA!! It was able to power on all the lights, A/C, 6 refrigerators, etcetera. Obviously, I didn't try my other high consumption equipments, such as water heater, electric range, dryer machine, but it did the work perfectly for like an hour.

My previous owned generator did not have enough power. I studied the different generators offered by other manufacturers and decide that the Westinghouse was the best to meet my needs. I am a senior and this battery start generator solved the pull start problem I was having.
