I purchased this generator a few weeks ago for backup home power. Having the ability to use gasoline and propane is the greatest capability during hurricane outages when gasoline may be in short supply or storage of it becomes problematic, whereas propane's shelf life is considerably longer and easier to store, best of both worlds is a plus! Able to put out huge wattage that can power nearly everything in my home via 50A hookup and interlock switch. That includes my 3.5 ton AC unit, however, I do have a soft start kit installed to reduce the burden on the 9500df and allow for greater efficiency and increased loads. Started right up on the first try. Extremely well thought out and solid generator. Moves easily with the handle/wheels when needed, and tucks away nicely under my workbench when not needed. Remote start was the cherry on top! Have recommended to many family and friends, and to whoever reads this as well. Cheers.

We purchased this for back up since we live in the country. Our first generator and are pleased thus far. A little on the noisier side but when one "needs" power for the given circumstance, noise wont necessarily be a factor. I believe one YouTuber rated this at 74 decibels. The wheels were easy to install as well as the 2 feet. The pop-up handle is a nice feature and allow me to move the unit with ease across our farm terrain. Running the unit was a cinch. Just be sure to turn off your fuel valve and allow it to use up the balance of the fuel in the line/carb so that things don't get gummed up. Front control panel is easy to navigate. Buttons seem solid. Electric start is a welcomed feature! One thing I would have changed is the location of the gas cap. I would have put the cap at one end or the other so that it makes a little easier to pour in. All in all, a great product for the money and we are very happy with our purchase!

My son-in-law purchased this the WGen9500DF last year. Impressive performance. The installation instructions were VERY easy to follow. Unboxing, installing the wheels, and adding oil was under 30 mins. I ran it for 3 hours, changed the oil and then connected it to my home transfer switch. The true test is how many circuit breakers I can turn on in the house. I ran everything except the dishwasher and A/C. The generator can take a heavy load. I highly recommend this product.

I just moved to Florida and hurricane season is fast approaching. I work remote and need to keep my house powered to stay connected with my job. This unit will definitely meet my needs should the power go out. My favorite feature is the remote start.

I purchased to be prepared for the next power outage. Living in Houston Tx, they can be frequent. Had a Master Electrician connect it to my house’s electrical control panel and it started up like a charm able to power my whole house including the AC. I’ll be ready the next time the power goes out.

WGen9500DF generator arrived today as scheduled. Unit is intact and looks great. After all initial set-up steps were done we added gasoline fuel and the generator started immediately. We tried it with a small 120v load with perfect results. While we hope to not need the genny, we are feeling ready if we do.

After purchasing a iGen4500DF, I knew that I wanted a Westinghouse to be able to power 220V for my well pump and other high power appliances. ~10K is what I needed, and also wanted the dual fuel option. The instructions were clear, and in no time, I had the generator wheels installed, and started it right up. It's just what I was looking for and feel confident that I'll be ready for the next power outage!

I thought it was going to be more complicated to put together but to my surprise it's not. It's just what I need and I love it. I love the remote start also I thought it was going to be more complicated to put together but it wasnt. I love the remote start also. It started up right away I didn't even have to charge the battery. And it works on both fules.

Just got this generator and followed the instructions to get it going. It was packaged well, everything was included, it looked perfect. It started right away on propane, then started right away on gasoline. Switched fuel while it was running and it barely stumbled before it was running perfectly on the new fuel. Plugged it into my 50 amp power inlet box and it ran everything from a cooktop, electric oven, electric clothes dryer, to my 3 ton A/C unit (not all at once) and they all ran perfectly. I still need to see if the 5 ton A/C will start up with this. All of my electronics seemed to work fine on the generator, but a couple of UPS's were clicking. I think I will replace those with newer ones. Love the auto choke. It's nice to be able to push a button to start it without having to fiddle with a manual choke. The remote start is a nice feature I didn't know I needed, but I think it will be quite useful to have. The wheels are big and wide making it easy to move on my grass lawn. Also, liked the U-shaped handle. It makes it easy to pull the generator with one hand while moving it into position. Overall, I have been very pleased and impressed with this generator. I would highly recommend it!

We purchased this generator because our home frequently loses power. We haven't lost power since purchasing it (wrong season for the frequent power outages) but we like what we have seen so far. We love that it seems very easy to use and we can choose which type of fuel we want to use to power it. Easy enough for me to roll out and start by myself if my husband isn't home during an outage and will power all our important necessities
