Powers the whole house

I bought this after installing a transfer switch to power my house in case of a power outage. I tested it with the AC, pool equipment, washer/dryer, etc. running and it handled everything with ease. Turns on easily. It is heavy, so difficult to manuver, but the long handle does a good job to keep it stable - even on steep slopes (like ramps to a shed).

Amazing Full Feature Generator

I received the generator and everything to set it up correctly was included (minus the fuel). User Manual was well written and easy to understand. After setup was complete and fueled up, immediate start. Almost looking forward to the next power outage in coastal Georgia. But please, no more hurricanes. Two this season was enough.

Easy Use and Great Features

This just arrived a few weeks ago, so my use has been limited. It was easily assembled by one person. I have used both gasoline and LPG easily. The controls and maintenance items are readily accessible. The eco feature is a definite plus. Definitely quieter than our last generator.

Wonderful generator and runs my entire home!!!

Absolutely amazing generator. Starts on the first push of the start button. The key fob works great from inside my home. I have a 1400 square foot home with a 2.5 ton unit and this generator handles it all. It's a little noisy but quieter than what you would expect from a generator this size. It's heavy but easily movable once you install the wheels. I couldn't be happier with this generator!!!

The boss

Arrived very well packaged so no damage. It's heavy so have a boxcutter ready to slide out on to a rug but after that it's simple to assemble.Just had to install the feet and wheels. The battery connections were already screwed on so that was 1 less thing I needed to do. I was pleased with the size and construction of the tires. I put the oil (provided-use the entire bottle) and the gas in and it started right up. It's a beast for power. Little louder than I expected but if power is out I figure the neighbors will have their own generators going. Electrician installed a transfer box and set up my breakers for what we will power up when needed.

Excellent unit

Due to the direction our energy generation is going in our country, feel much better prepared to ride out the rolling brown outs with this WGen9500DF! Wanted the flexibility of the duel fuel capability. Impressed with the design and features of this unit! Next step is to get the sub panel with transfer switch installed.

A very well built generator

I bought this generator due to the reviews of previous owners' comments. I can verify that this generator can power a small house. It has enough watts to do this. The electric start adds a nice feature. Took me about 30 minutes to unbox and assemble this generator. We'll build with a 3 year warranty. Meant for the 9500DFC

High Altitude Modifications

My home is above 8000 feet of altitude. That requires replacement of fuel system parts for efficient operation on gasoline or propane. Working with the Service Hotline to get the right parts took several days. Email was the best way to get the part numbers. The generator runs well at high altitude.

The Whole Package

This generator is a life saver, specifically in the heat of the summer. We had some nasty storms that took down some trees and left us without power. We use another brand generator and it only lasted for a day. This generator is a powerhouse. The electric start feature is a lifesaver as well as the dual fuel capabilities. You’ll never find yourself running out of gas when you have a spare propane tank to run it putting it together And having it up and running was even simpler I know this generator is going to last for a long time and I can’t wait to use it more often

First impressions

We bought this generator after Beryl, in preparation for the next storm / outage. I like the features. I like that it is dual fuel. Tri-fuel seemed like overkill, and the third fuel is the least efficient and provides the least amount of wattage. We want it to be a temporary generator, but plan to have an electrician install an outlet that will allow us to plug it into our home for at least partial home coverage. First thing I noticed at the store. This thing is HEAVY. I mean real heavy. I'm no weakling, but my 21 yr old ex-high school middle linebacker son and I struggled to pick it up. Once it's assembled, moving it isn't super hard, but might be for a small woman or an elderly person. The good news is, it might be harder for thieves to simply carry off. I made sure to read the manual. Didn't want to screw it up. I attached the battery cable. I put in the provided 10W-30 oil. I even ran it for the recommended "No Load" break-in time. I put 1 gallon of fresh gasoline in it and just let it run dry. It ran for about 2 hours (with no load). The tank will hold 6.6 gallons of fuel. With average load, it is supposed to run about 8 hours on a full tank. Once everything was ready to go, I pressed the start button and it started up on the first try. There was a brief delay that worried me, but it started right up after that (about 2 seconds). This particular generator got pretty good reviews and had around a 4.5 start rating. I like the features it has. It seems well-made. I can only hope that it lasts for years to come.
