I bought this to use for backup power for my house. Arrived with minor shipping damage. Looks like forklift forks went thru box and put small dent in gas tank flange. Unpacked, assembled and went thru start up procedure. Started with first push of the button and ran without any problems.

My electrician recommended this generator to me, and he was able to install a manual transfer switch for my breaker box to allow this generator to power on my necessities during outages. After a walk-through on how to use it, I am comfortable with power this on by myself to make it through outages. We simulated a power outage at my house, and everything worked perfectly as i wanted it to. Super happy with the product.

Purchase this Generator in August 22 on arrival approx 1 week unpacked assembled per instructions added supplied oil and i added fuel (gas)opened gas valve waited a minute for gas flow set choke pressed start switch and started right up did not have to charge battery, let it run for several minutes shut it down. I am totally happy with this generator.

I researched generators very very hard. The more research I did, it was evident that this was the generator to order. Really it had 4.7 out of five star rating with nearly 15,500 global reviews! To me it’s a no-brainer, that was a lot of happy customers/families. The Westinghouse dual fuel, portable generator, WGEN 9500 DF. I had it shipped to my home. I was a little nervous about having something so large and heavy being shipped. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised the box was in perfect condition. We’ll packed, we’ll built. The generator itself is just amazing. It runs and looks like a fine piece of equipment. I am extremely happy/ satisfied and I would recommend this product to anybody.

Purchase this item for this upcoming hurricane season, always have to stay prepared in Texas! Honestly I couldn’t have made a better purchase! Delivery was fast and they were able to place it in my garage. I would definitely recommend this product to family and friends.

The generator was easy to assemble. Instructions were very clear. User manual is very detailed. The generator was designed with all the controls in the perfect location and labeled well. You notice right away that this was built very sturdy with good materials. It started up right away after assembly.. much quieter than my current generator. Just purchased so we will see when put to the test.

Bought on recommendation from my electrician. It has a remote start so it's so easy to deal with. Also comes with plugin to keep battery charged when not in use..no more dead battery when power goes out! Very compact and easy to move. Will power my whole house!

Has the flexibility of running propane or gas. Has 4 100v plugs along with both a 30 amp and a 50 amp outlet. Includes a DC charging cord to keep the battery maintained. Remote start is a nice feature so I don't have to put earplugs in to start it.

I purchased this 9500DFc generator for my home as an insurance of power loss during a Florida storm. Had an electrician install connection to my house to provide total power if needed. Very pleased with product and ease of mind that it provides my family - thanks.

I received the generator last Monday morning, unpacked it, put it together added the oil and gas and it started right up. I then ran it for about an hour and sounded great. On Tuesday I received a transfer switch and over the next few days wired the house circuits that I wanted then when I finished Thursday with wiring up the transfer switch I plugged the 30 amp cord to the generator and started it up. After it ran for about 3 minutes I switched over the house circuits to the generator. I had my well pump, furnace, refrigerator, window unit AC, kitchen and dining room lights, MBR lights all on, 2 TV's, computer workstation, chicken coop with heat lamps on and all worked great. I ran it that way for 3 hrs. without a hiccup. Needless to say I'm very pleased with this unit
