I bought this two days ago it was packaged perfectly everything was there very easy to assemble what little you had to assemble hooked up propane and it started right up were anticipating a big storm and power outages fortunately we didn’t get them but I am happy to know that I will be protected if we do

I bought this as emergency backup to my home solar. I shopped around quite awhile online comparing features and prices, and also found a couple of professional reviews that gave very high marks to the Westinghouse, comparing it favorably to other more expensive brands. The final decider was when a good friend of mine bought this same model and I was very impressed with it. I can power my whole house with this thing, so I’m all set for and grid failures.

I have owned a portable generator for years and I have been waiting for a powerful dual fuel option. The ability to use LPG is a bonus. It started right up and ran for a 20 minute warmup without a hitch. The remote start and trickle charge plug make the generator ready at a moments notice. My son ordered one a few days after I did.

I researched generators for several weeks before choosing this one. It assembled easily following the instructions. It started right up. It runs much more smoothly than the smaller one I have (I even think it's a little quieter.) It has all the features I was looking for.

I bought the generator and am thrilled with the features, along with the fact that it can be run on gas or propane. Handle and wheels makes it convenient for a female to get it in position for use. Electric start is also one of the best ever features! I'm ready for hurricane season!

It’s only been a couple of weeks since I purchased this generator but I was pleasantly surprised to find a pull rope on the motor. Based on the website information I couldn’t ascertain or see the pull rope but this gives me an alternate option to start the generator if the battery is dead. Since this generator will serve as a temporary backup in case I lose power at home, I will have to come back and add comments after its use after evaluating its operation.

This generator seems very well made. The assembly was easy, and the directions were clear (except for showing the handle used to lift and move the generator, which is great, but I didn’t see it at the beginning). It started right up on propane. Have not yet tried gas. Loved the electric start. Not sure about the value of the remote start for my use case, but I may change my mind in actual use. Outlets look solid, and there is a good range of configurations available. I would give it 5 stars if It were quieter. It is probably quieter than most in its class, but still noisy. Bought this for home backup and for use with our camper. Dual fuel option is great for camping - I can hook straight to our camper's gas system. Remote start option is great to restart the genset the next morning without having to walk outside. Output is great for full camper - even with AC in the summer!

I just received this united on 9/11/2020 (37 days after purchase) and put it thru all of the non load run tests. It started on gasoline and propane by remote and push button every time with minimum noise/vibrations and no leaks. Ran 4 times for 1/2 hr. each on both fuels with no problems, real test will come when power outage occurs. Only issue I had was a minor one. The weld on nut for one of the front feet was poorly done and snapped off when tightening.

The outlet is very important because the best setup for these generators is having a transfer switch outlet on the house that feeds into your breaker box. This is the safest way to run every system in your home following a bad storm with an outage. This allows you to plug the generator directly into the breaker box, block any incoming electricity from the power company so that you can select everything to be run on this big generator. Including your central air, which is a must in our hot humid climate. It's bad enough cleaning up after a hurricane, worse yet if you have no way to wash, clean, eat, protect, - all facets of home ownership here. Now that the new 2024 hurricane season is upon us, I've set up the brand new generator and following instructions to have it broken in and ready to go for the next emergency. We used non-ethanol gas which keeps your engines running clean. Follow the few directions to start the first time. It started right up! All by the push of one button. It's wonderful to not have to have a PhD to run a piece of equipment. Thank you Westinghouse, for an amazing all house generator of this quality.
