I researched the heck out of generators, the Westinghouse stacked up across the board with all the highly regarded makes but Westinghouse committed to making an affordable product, and they did. It has incredible features and is user friendly, well built and looks good. I can’t wait for the power to go out! 🤣

Purchased this to replace our 15+ year-old Coleman generator that froze during Hurricane Ian recovery (Fall of 2022). This generator has more options for starting and fuel sources that makes it a must during such times. (i.e. gasoline not readily available but tanks of propane were on hand). Mechanically: the welds are smooth and secure; paint shows no over-spray; and feels solid as a rock when tipped end to end for inspection. Additionally the unit, started right up w/o delay using propane as the fuel source. Very happy with our purchase and expect to get many years of service from this one.

Although I have not had an outage that required us to use the generator yet compared to other options I considered this product offers a good combination of features at a competitive price. The unit was well packaged and included all the items needed to get the unit ready for service. Assembly was limited and simple. Product instructions were clearly written. The unit started readily and was able to power our central HVAC unit with ease simultaneously with a few other critical service items.

it arrived in good condition. easy to unpack and install the included wheel kit. one person can do this easily. it weighs a lot but is balanced so well that it is really easy to move around.everything you need to start is included. read instructions to make sure you do everything right. started first time and it is noisy , but remember its 9500 watts , but seemed quieter than i expected on one this size. it ran all circuits that we bought it for. so far a great investment.

My family used Westinghouse products and they never fail! I purchased a generator for my house when I lose power from severe weather conditions. Westinghouse makes a generator that won’t fail, lists every single item for maintenance and schedule! Can never go wrong with Westinghouse!

Only had it a couple weeks and all I have done was powered the house with it for an hour as a test. Difficult to get through to support. I have a couple simple questions that have still gone unanswered after many back and forth communications. Specifically operation on propane at high altitudes, and recommended break in procedure. Never got an answer to either question. I marked that I would not recommend this product based on the poor support. Is support from competing companies any better? Unfortunately I have no way of knowing.

I purchased this Generator and it was delivered 1 week ago. I set it up and 2 hours later we had a power failure and the generator performed perfectly on propane for the duration. I couldn't be happier to have purchased it when I did. It definitely has met and probably will exceed my expectations in the future.

Was looking for a propane generator and came across this gem. I have not tried it out yet, but it arrived within 24 hours after online purchase and was brand new in box, unopened and undamaged. Really easy to set up with the wheels to move around. Just finished doing my registration for the 3 year manufacturer warranty. All seems really good to go with this purchase.

The Westinghouse WGen9500DF generator is a real work horse. This duel fuel generator is built very solid and has many extras. The electric start with Key fob is a nice touch. I have to wait for my electrician to tie into the house transfer switch, but it starts and runs smoothly. I am very pleased with this purchase. It is quite heavy and would be easier to move if Westinghouse had included 4 wheels instead of just 2.

We bought this generator there months ago in the event we needed to restore power for a short outage. Fast-forward to Hurricane Ian and we had to power this baby up after we lost power. Fortunately, we only needed the generator for a couple of days. It performed flawlessly and best of all, it was VERY good on fuel usage. Also, we were really pleased with the ease of use! I hope we won't need to use it again any time in the near future... But, we will definitely be ready with this generator! Highly recommend purchasing!!
