Love that there is 3 ways to start it up. I did a little research before and Westinghouse had the best run time for the 12500 model compared to others.

I have bought it two months ago and so far happy with it. Durable construction, reach feature set - dual power source, plenty of outlets, even battery charger! The only remark I wished it came on a pallete so it's easier to assemble wheals. Without it it's quite a trick how to lift 200lb and do all the job with only one pair of hands.

Documents were exceptional as well as the easy of registering the warranty. Here in South Florida a standby power supply is crucial to living in a home without utility power. I bought this after the last hurricane came through N.C. andcwe lost our power. My wife is on oxygen and her emergency tank ran out seeing the oxygen company was out of equipment has no choice but to run a drop cord to our Jeep to use the inverter to run her portable oxygen machine. Also lost everything in our refrigerator and freezer so no matter what we will be set and ready for next time we are without power. This thing powers the whole house at least the main necessities. I bought this after my wife and I experienced a power outage after some flash flooding in our home area. We had talked about a generator for a long time since we live in a rural area. We always tend to be the last one's to get our power back on. After this last outage we pulled the trigger I did some looking at different brands and I was satisfied that this unit had everything I wanted. Electric start, a trickle charger to keep the battery up, both gasoline and propane fuels, and plenty of power to run the house. I installed a 10 circuit transfer switch with a 50 amp plug on the outside of the house. I got the unit today hooked it up and tested it. The generator ran everything I had wired. No more worrying about water or if the refrigerator is staying cold. No more trying to find candles or batteries for flashlights. Just peace of mind when ever the storm hits. This is a very high quality unit.

We live in a area that loses power a lot, with a well pump not being able to take a shower or a simple thing as flushing the toilet was unacceptable to my wife. We're simple country folk and this will pretty much run our whole house. With the remote start feature my wife will be able to start the generator if I'm not at home.

Just bought the unit and had some hidden damage. Not sure if it will effect operation of the unit. Did call their support line and they advised a representative would call me back. Never did get a callback from Customer Service. Not a good sign for future questions. Overall quality and operational instructions seem very good. Seems like a well built machine. Would buy this unit again.
