Generator ordered 8/21, arrived 8/24. Box was a little torn at the corner but did not affect the generator that was well protected. I have not yet started it up since we still have some electrical to do. Will update this review if I encounter any problems.

Had been looking for dual fuel generator for awhile that was affordable, big enough to run most important household electric items & easy to use. Has remote start as well as push button. Haven't had need to use yet. Will also get electrician to install plug in so even easier to use

I want to love this generator but the motor seized up after roughly 30 hours of use and I have only had the product for 12 months. I changed the oil at the recommended break in period and followed all other guidelines according to the user manual. According to the manufacturer's warranty I have to pay to ship the unit back for repairs! Now that will be expensive and seems like a punishment to the consumer.

I received this generator several days before hurricane Zeta hit the coast of lower Alabama. Thinking we could not possibly be hit again with in a month of a previous storm, Sally, I neglected to read the instructions but at least I took time to assemble the generator (30minutes). The storm hit during the night. I got up the next morning at 4:45 and began reading. I filled the crankcase with oil, attached the hose for running on propane and opened the correct valves. I connected the battery, touched the start button. It immediately came to life and I connected electrical cords to appliances and saved the contents of 2 refrigerator/freezers which I had lost the due to the previous storm. I researched numerous brands of generators and selected what I thought was best for my situation. Hope I never have to use it again but am confident that it will be ready. Have already made comments to friends about this generators capacity and ease of use

I wanted a generator that can run our home A/C and other essentials during a power outage. The WGen9500DF right out of the box started right up by using the remote. It had to crank a few seconds until fuel primed - then started up fast. I tried a few starts no issue, instant on. We bought the ST Switch with Smart Portable Automatic Transfer Technology and hooked it up for a test. Simulated a power outage and as advertised the generator immediately kicked on by itself and provided emergency power. We simulated a power restore and it transferred power power back to the utility. Buy this if it is large enough (check your needs). Excellent product! I can't tell you about reliability over the long term as it is new for us but it works well. We will get a soft start for our A/C to help things along.... I am a design in a nuclear powerplant and this back up generator is a slick home back up system that is affordable. The dual fuel option is also a nice feature.

I bought this generator anticipating that my house would lose power this year during the hurricane season. I have tested it multiple times to make sure that it runs on both propane and gas and each time it performs perfectly. We are able to keep our refrigerator running, the fans going and even a window AC unit running with no issues. The added bonus of remote start meant we didn't have to go outside to start it up. A wonderful product.

The first generator was delivered damaged. An exchange was requested without issue. The new one arrived and the packaging was in way better shape than the old one. Upon inspection, everything looked good. I followed all the start-up instructions, and it fired up straight away ad ran perfectly.

Bought this generator on a Friday, it arrived the following Monday without any damage. Monday night I took it out of the box and put the tires and feet on it. Took the manuals inside and read through them. Next morning I went out and out I’ll in it, charted the battery, turned the switch over to propane and it started right up. Definitely love the digital voltage readout with the volts, frequency, and run hours on it. Definitely will help with maintenance. Can’t wait to see how this generator holds up in the future.

I bought this generator because it's a Westinghouse, it accepts dual fuel and it can power most of my all electric house through a panel interface kit. It's actually quieter than my, now retired, smaller generator and it stores in about the same amount of space too. Very please with it so far.

Love the concept of it worked. Started hard when I first got it home, but figured out it had to be manually choked and crank over about a dozen times to start. Then less than a year later it has electrical issues and will not even turn over. Will see how good the warranty service is.
