Bought this for power outages during storm season. Living rural power loss is more frequent. Received our WGen9500DF today, assembled it per the assembly instructions no problem. Never did find the ECO mode switch. Checked other reviews and no one else found it either. Hooked it to a new propane bottle and it started with first push of the start switch Seems to be quiet enough and smooth running. Hope we get many years of service.

Yes, it's a bit heavy but still very manageable. I live in Florida and keep it in the garage for hurricane emergencies. To get to the lanai (caged pool area) I bring it thru the house using 5" high portable curb ramps to get up over and down thresholds. Much easier than going thru the yard. Also had a 10 circuit transfer switch installed which will also power a portable a/c unit in master bedroom. Generator runs like a champ!

From packaging through assembly and features it is apparent that this product was given some thought. Details like flanged bolts for attachment of the stationary legs to the inclusion of a battery charger made me feel good about my purchase. I live in an area of frequent utility power interruptions and need a dependable alternative power source. Time will tell as to long term reliability but we are off to a good start.

I bought this generator to supply home with the essentials lights, fridge, freezers, and mini split heat pump. Unboxed put wheels and feet on added the oil put gas in and it fired up on first try. Have not used in a power outage yet but I’m confident it will do its job

I purchased this generator as a whole house unit, we live in a rural area on an "end" of the line utility service...so if the area loses power, we are the last to get it back. I wanted a unit that offered the flexibility of running on LPG for our home, yet a quick disconnect & I can take the unit mobile & operate it on gasoline. The handle & wheels make this unit very easy to move & place where needed.

We purchased this generator a little over two years ago and it is great. We live rurally in a location that often loses power and we love that the duel fuel option allows less frequent trips to refuel during extended outages. It's also just as easy to start/run for me (small woman) as it is for my husband.

I have done a lot of research on generators because i didn’t want to go with just any brand. The Westinghouse wgen9500df was easy to put a few parts on. The instructions were easy to understand and started right up. Runs great and not as noisy as others we have owned. It will be a great choice for our home in emergencies

Super surprised on how easy it was to unbox, "assemble" (wheel kit and feet)...easy peasy. Follow the set up instructions and its smooth sailing. Not hard to move around. Started right up, ran perfectly. Had electricians over to install a lock out and soft start for AC...they were ultra impressed with the fit and finish. Load tested - this can run every essential in my home if power goes out. There are some things that you must prioritize, dryers, over constant AC, stuff like that - Gave me super confidence for winter and summer brown outs. It will take a while to get to know it better, plan on using it once a quarter and making a use log for maintenence needs. So far - A+

Generator arrived 2 weeks earlier than expected. Delivery service called and shared generator was ready to unload. The driver unloaded the generator and rolled it all the way to the garage door. The manual and product registration easy to understand and submit.

I purchased this as a backup power supply for my house and well on the farm when the next ice storm takes down the power lines. I have had a transfer switch and plug installed by a certified electrician. The generator has been connected to the system and tested working as was expected. I will send a more detailed review after the first use in bad weather.
