Bought this generator a week ago, and just took delivery of it yesterday. Very impressed with the build quality and features. Very stout looking generator. Started up on the first try with propane. Not as loud as I thought it would be. Going through break in process now, but should handle everything I need it to.

I bought this generator because I wanted a push-button start. This generator is wonderful. It was easy to set up, instructions were very clear, and it started with a click. It ran smoothly and is very powerful. I love that if I can’t get to the gas station, I can use propane. It will run my entire house. I am delighted with this purchase, and feel I am ready for hurricane season in Florida.

Just received our new generator today. It was packaged well and very easy to assemble the wheel and front stands. I will be adding the oil and gas it up tomorrow. Ran out of time today. I almost can't wait till we lose power. Looking forward to hearing it run.

I bought this portable generator last week and after the easy set up I put it through it’s paces and tested it as a back up to my house. I was able to run all the essentials including a gas water heater and gas furnace for heat and all my refrigerators. Great buy!

We had 3 day power outage due to ice storm and tree damages. I was using generator 2 day straight using 20 ga propane tanks. Great performance and reliability. I setup transfer switch for el. panel and powered whole house. The only inconvenience is to stop the generator to switch the propane tanks. But otherwise it’s a great product!!! Thanks.

I was using a smaller generator running wires into the house when power was out. After a winter ice storm and being out of power for several days, my smaller generator could not handle the load in keeping the house warm. I hired an electrician to add a connection into the house. Hooking up via a 50 amp connection. I tested this generator running the AC. The generator worked fine. I did not notice the generator being drained when running the AC. A lot quieter than I expected. The generator was fairly easy to assemble. With the wheels on, my wife can move the generator back and forth if needed. I am pleased with my purchase. This provides me peace of mind when the power is out.

They have have been doing a lot of power line rerouting in our area and there are many days that the power will be off for several hours while they are working. We got this generator to plug into our homes 50 amp inlet to breaker box as a whole home backup. This has not only powered our 3.5 ton AC, but also many lights, fridge, freezer, wifi and computers. The wireless remote start is also a much appreciated bonus. We love this thing.

I bought this generator about 3 weeks ago to complete my project of being able to power my house whenever there are power outtages. In Michigan, it seems to become more frequent. I owned a Subaru Robin 400 and it was a great machine, but it could not power the whole house, it was heavy as heck, and I had to use a power drill to start it (pull rope broke). I asked around and my buddy suggested getting a Honda, but Honda's are really expensive. The one I wanted to power my home was almost 4K! I looked at the The Predator 8500, and has high ratings, and a "knock off" version of the Honda. So, I researched generators and the Westinghouse kept popping up. I like the easy install, the dual fuel option, and electric start. This bad boy started on the second button push. The 9500DF can power my whole home and nowhere near as loud nor as heavy as my old school Subaru Robin (much respect). Great buy. I am very, very, pleased.l

I live in area where the power goes out frequently. A generator has been on my radar for a long time. The time came to start looking for a unit. The 9500DF had all the features I was interested in and had great reviews. I am very happy with my purchase!!

I ordered the generator 1 week ago today. Today I received it. I put the wheels and front supports on, put oil in engine and connected the battery. I checked the whole machine over real good and never found anything wrong. I hook the propane tank to it and then got the key fob insinc with the generator and it started right up. I ran it for the 5 hour break in time the company recommends at less than half load. I did put a little extra load from time to time also. I let cool down for about 3 hours, started it back up hooked my air compressor to it, I ran a skill saw and a bench grinder all at the same time. I honestly believe this is going to be the generator I need to power my house when the power goes out. I would recommend this Westinghouse generator to anyone looking to buy a generator.
