Purchased this from a local electrician to rely upon during power outages. Electric start Panel has failed - light does not come on despite charged battery, button doesn't work. Westinghouse says my electrician is not an authorized reseller and therefore I have no warranty claim. I have no faith in Westinghouse as a company now as they don't stand by their product, they just try to worm out of supporting it. Disgusted.

I just purchased this generator June 22, 24. We live near Matagorda TX where Hurricane Beryl hit on July 8, 24. We are SOO please w this generator. We ran it on propane. We had lights, water well, AC (we do have a soft start unit). No problem pulling all that at all. We have an electric dryer and that is the only thing it would not pull. We used it 7 days. It was awesome.

I purchased this product after losing power this past winter....so excited about its features and ability to keep us warm (or cool) when the power goes out. Especially excited about the remote start and how easy it was for the electrician to integrate with the fuse panel, thanks to the product being transfer switch ready....

I just purchased this generator for my house. It's impressive how quick set-up is! The remote start is a very handy feature. We had an electrician wire our house for the 50 Amp connection which is very convenient. Overall very happy with this generator.

The Westinghouse 9500/12500 dual fuel generator was a easy choice. The easy feature of starting with a key fob, YES A KEY FOB! Press a button and done. Starting is easy even a kid can do it. The dual fuel is a noice option as IN case electricity at the gas pump is out Dual Fuel will always be able to keep this running as propane tanks refill without electricity. The unit even for its weight is really nimble to move in place to plug in to power my whole house. Assembly is easy. I choose portable that in the future of where I go I can simply take it with me and if a friend or family member needs to use it I can load it in my SUV, I don’t even need a truck to move this bad boy. Fuel gauge is easy to read, front control panel is well laid out and not confusing. I will pick up a 40lb. propane tank to have on stand by ready to fire it up. The cast iron block was a reason to buy it as all the better police vehicles that have a cast iron engine blocks go forever

I bought this a year and a half ago and finally needed to use it. The battery was dead from storage so I had to crank start it. The propane tank worked great on it however when I switched to gas and turned fuel line in, I couldn’t get it to start….Customer support only works M-F 8-4. I read the manual and have no idea what could be wrong.

Bought this base on my friend's recommendation and I have to say, this is generator is awesome. They could of done a better job on the boxing design. There was no way anyone can lift that out of the box, pretty much have to destroy the box by cutting open the box on all 4 corners. The product it self is great. Start right up, so far its working as expected. As far as stability, will have to update later.

What can I say? Set up was easy and straightforward, the generator started and delivered power right away (with No call to tech support) and, it arrived with NO missing pieces and in excellent condition. It is solidly built and I estimate it will serve my needs well.

Bought 15 dec 2020. So far 22 hours. Easy to assemble and started right up. So far the only issue I've had is when starting in temps below 30f. It seems the electronic choke doesn't stay on long enough(I'm also at 7000ft). So I have to manually override. Other then that, it's been great.

After much due diligence we decided on this generator because of positive reviews, size and options. Very happy to have the choice between gas or propane, it has a remote starter, is easily movable and hassle than enough power for our needs. It arrived without any damage and in a timely manner. Hope we won't need it, but very happy we are ready!
