While quite heavy, the generator was easy to set up. Starts on first try, and can run quite a bit! I am using propane, and hopefully it will last a bit longer than gasoline. I was unable to find set up video on Westinghouse's website, but there are plenty on YouTube.

I was excited to try this out as soon as I got it out of the box. With minimal assembly, adding fluids and attaching the battery, I had it up and running in less than 30 minutes. I live in an area that is constantly challenged by inclement weather. A portable generator is a must. My Westinghouse 9500 was easy to install and the electric starting feature is far superior to my old generator. Most importantly, I was able to run the central ac unit and two refrigerators. I feel very comfortable going into the heart of the hurricane season.

I bought this as a backup system for my entire home. We had an electrician install a transfer switch and 50 amp plug outside in a convenient area. I tested the generator using the 50amp power output and it ran everything in my home without a problem. Very easy to use and setup and the remote start is a plus. It is noisy but no worse than all the others I've seen. Great item at a great price.

Just unboxed it. It is a beast. Pretty heavy, but that is expected. Easy to put together. Started right up and ran great. Not as loud as I expected. I currently have a Champion 3800 running watts, and this Westinghouse is no louder and may be quiter. So far very happy.

I ordered this unit 9-4-23 and received it 9-8-23. I unboxed and installed the wheels and mounting feet, filled with oil and gasoline and it started and ran on the first attempt. Won’t be able to check it on propane until next week when I receive my 30 lb propane tank. It did have a boo boo from shipping and the fuel gauge don’t seem to be working but have a call in on that and a case number. They said a representative would give me a call after the weekend. I’m well pleased with the unit overall so far.

I just received my new generator. The generator was simple to set up. I chose to fire it up and run it with propane. I read the instruction about how much load and how long to run it. Generator fired right up and purred for three hours with no issue. I used two electric heaters for the load. I am now going to be ready if I ever need back up power.

My unit had problems with the starting switch when it was delivered. After a couple of attempts with different switches at the warranty center, they could not resolve the problem. They replaced the entire unit without any cost. It was time consuming to go thru the proccess, but I am satisified with the effort and results that Westinghouse put forth. I now have a backup generator that is meeting my needs.

We purchased the WGen9500DF 4/420/2020. Our Electrician place a female connection for a 40 foot PC3040M 30-amp power cord on the out side of our home and a new circuit board next to our home circuit panel. We fired it up using a new larger propane tank an it work fantastic. Powered our whole home. We love it.

I purchased generator on-line, great price, was given an arrival date and it arrived 2 weeks earlier than expected! Easy to assemble, added oil and gas and it fired right up, glad I bought this machine for whole house use in the event of an outage, really hope that never happens!
