Easy assembly, started right up on unleaded. Bought as a backup home generator, ran for 2 hours no load and no issues so far. Seems like great quality. I would suggest running for 4-5 hours under load and then changing the oil to a higher quality full synthetic motor oil. I may be paranoid, but I don't trust the generic conventional oil that was sent with it.

We bought this generator in Nov. to prepare for the winter. When the first snow hit the area this week, the power was out during the busy work day. The generator was easy to be pulled out to use. We could then continue to work at home. The heater, the wifi, the fridge, all ran the same. The electric starter is convenient and the remote control is a plus. The noise level is not as high as we expected. We are glad we made the investment.

Our power went out and I had no generator, but my son in law did. He brought over a duel fuel 9500w and using propane, we started it and ran cords to my refrigerator and freezer. I saved me from throwing out all my perishables. our power was out for 4 days and this thing didn't;t skip a beat. this convinced me to buy my own and I'm in the process of hiring an electrician to do a hook up to my breaker box with a plug on it to connect it to my generator.

Purchased the 9500 DF in July and have not used as yet. . Rating is based on quality build and components and clear information and instructions.Will be happy to give a follow up rating once the 9500DF kicks into action. Bought on recommendation from my electrician. It has a remote start so it's so easy to deal with. Also comes with plugin to keep battery charged when not in use..no more dead battery when power goes out! Very compact and easy to move. Will power my whole house!

While I have not used the generator for its intended purpose as a power backup, the set up could not have been easier. After quickly installing the wheels and resting pads, all I had to do was add the oil, connect the battery and the propane before pushing the button on the key fob. It fired up immediately. I am also impressed that they include a battery charger that simply plugs into a port should you need to use it. Very impressed so far.

I was rescued by my brother, who drove 1400 miles, after Hurricane Ian. My old Generac took a dump and we needed power. This Westinghouse got great reviews and I can see why. I haven't had an chance to really put the machine to real use but the set up was easy, I used propane for my fuel and it started right up and ran well. I ran a couple of power tools and that went well. I purchased this unit for back up for my house but haven't got transfer switch installed in the house yet to see how well it works for that. I haven't seen anything to lead me think it won't go well.
