I bought this Generator to feed my entire house. It has more than enough power to feed everything I need. Also a big deciding factor for us was the remote start! We love the remote start because my wife is Pregnant and we have a puppy and she cannot go outside to start it if I’m not around. Now she can be in the house and start it and stop it if need be. Westinghouse with the home run on this product!

I bought this generator to supply power to our house during power outages and also for powering various farm tools where power is not available. I like the electric start and the duel fuel as I have propane tank right next to house. It appears to meet all my needs. I've started it and ran it for 1 hr. to break it in. Easy set-up and instructions.

This generator is easy to use, not that difficult to get setup (wheel on, etc), but the instructions are slightly out of date for the variation they sent me. 1. The instructions clearly indicate to take the terminals off the battery, but the version i received has a quick connect that connects the battery to the starter, which is great, but since i was following the instructions, cost me several minutes of wasted life reconnecting the wires that i didn't even need to disconnect at all. 2. The instructions on filling the oil should specify (1) don't forget about the include oil funnel that will make a lot less of a mess; and (2) just use the full quart they include so you don't have to waste time checking if you filled it enough. It actually needs slightly more than the included quart, but that at least gets it to the bare minimum level on the dipstick. The remote start is pretty sweet however, and will be very useful in my given situation during a power outage.

Perhaps one of the best ways to demonstrate a good purchase is to buy it twice. This is my second purchase of the same generator. I purchased my first Wgen9500DF for our home two years ago and this one will be available in my workshop with the same set up. They are powerful, dependable, very easy to assemble and to use. I recommend this generator. I will likely never put gasoline in the carburetor as it is so easy to connect with a propane line to my underground fuel tanks. Storing propane, which never loses its BTU capacities like gasoline, is the easier and better way.

I bought this item last month and was very pleased with how quickly it was to get started and move it around. I gave a 4 star because two of the screws that connect the feet (assembly required) were not large for the pre-drilled hole resulting in stripping one of the screws to attach one of the feet. Otherwise, we installed the fixtures to our home and it powers up all the items we need (heat, air conditioning, appliances and other).

I bought this after an ice storm that took power out to my house for 9 days. I had it connect to a house house power inlet and it worked great for at least the first month (tested a couple times). Stored it away spring through November and figured I should pull it out today to test to see if its battery was still good. The control panel was totally dead. Battery tested normal, just cant get the thing to start via any method (manual, push button electric, remote, auto choke override). Hopefully Westinghouse fixed my issues and if I'm able, I will update this review. If it worked the way it did in my testing, I would happily give it a 5 star review.

Bought this in July for house hold use, ended up running our camper on it for almost a week using the 50amp power. It was great being able to switch from LP to Gas and back when we needed to. It had no problem running 2 A/C units and everything else in the camper.

This unit has a great wattage availability for the cost along with a long run time,dual fuel, wireless starting, push button and pull rope starting options. During my comparison search the Westhouse units were consistently at the top of the ratings. With a three year warranty, excellent manual with all the contact information need in case of an issues. I purchased to partially backup my house,mostly freezers. But done properly it can run most everything in the house. It is not a whole house unit but is very capable when the proper use and wattage/ amps is used correctly. Well packaged condense unit. Hope to have many years of useful use from the unit.

I just received my WGen9500DF this week and have been testing it out. It powers everything with ease and was not as loud as I expected! During my research before I bought this generator pretty much the only complaint I found that people had was how loud it was. To my surprise it was a lot quieter than I expected and don't think the noise level is unreasonable at all. Overall very happy with the generator!

Purchased this back on May 2021 to replace my old generator and this thing is a beast. It met all my requirements. The only thing i noticed with it is getting it started for the first time. But after a few minutes it fired right up. Love the idea of it having a remote start for it and it works great.
