Worked great out og the box and then poof!!! On/Off switch failed, took 2 months to get one because they were out of stock (I'm guessing because of how many replacements they've had to send out). It failed again a month later!!! I'd return it, but since it was a gift I have no receipt...

I have not started this up yet but so far, I am very pleased with my purchase. Product was delivered to my home seven days after ordering. Way sooner than expected. Everything was well packaged with minimal assembly required. Good manual, and parts drawing included.

Got this for storm power outages. Perfect for all my needs. I can utilize my frig-freezer, extra freezer, fans & portable appliances (coffee maker, sm microwave, can opener, etc) & still only run 1/2 of the max. Haven’t tried the LPG side yet. Couldn’t be happier!

After the latest string of power outages, we decided to get a larger generator. I read all the reviews on the 9500 DF and we decided to purchase it. Right out of the box, I could tell this was a quality product. Being an RV technician, I have the access to the proper cables and plugs to plug right into my house and power it during our many power outages every year. It's not too loud for all the power it's packing and the remote start gives me even more flexibility. I look forward to being more prepared thanks to our new generator.

I bought this a couple weeks ago. Works as advertised; great features. Like other reviewers say, it is loud. If out in the country or not putting it beside neighbor's house, etc., not an issue, but think about being courteous. Sound diminishes as the square of the distance, so moving it an extra 20 feet away from house can make a significant difference.

Living in Texas all my life I felt I was prepared for most any unexpected event. Last February proved me to be wrong. I now realize that a cord of wood would not suffice (especially when you are helping your friends and family out too) when the power fails for over a week, and your home is total electric. With low temperatures at a record breaking -4 across the Dallas area, inside temps were as low as a frosty 43 degrees ... I realized I was NOT prepared. After this unprecedented event finally cleared I spent a week researching alternative power sources and finally selected my new WGen 9500DF. I could not be more pleased knowing that whatever nature or other unexpected events comes our way ... electrical power will never again be a shortfall on my part. It is also not uncommon for Texas to experience some power issues in the middle of our typical summer season too, but with our new Westinghouse DF generator maintaining power to our fridge, freezer and AC we are good to go ... and with a Xfer switch it is a simple hook up too. The 9500 DF is packed with many features to make those unexpected power issues a little more tolerable, including my new best friend ... remote start.. We bought our generator used and it stated only the packaging outside was damaged. When it arrived the frame next to the fuel tank was severely bent in. We tried it . It still works and I don't think the frame damage affects the generator itself so though I'm a bit annoyed there wasn't more transparency I'm still happy.

Last Winter we lost power and had to drain pipes and live with friends. We bought this unit to get wired into our breaker box so we can switch off our connection to the power company if power is out and run on the generator until its on and stable again.

I bought this Generator to power my house and/or out 50amp RV for emergency back up. This generator is perfectly suite for my needs. It has the 30amp and 50amp receptacles plus 120vac 20amp duplex receptacles. 9500watts on gas and 8500watts on LPG is an incredible amount of power.

We live in a rural area with frequent outages. I rely on three sump pumps because we live next to a stream. When it rains long and heavy to stream overflows and we get seepage. Should the power fail this would flood my basement. The generator is more than adequate to power all my pumps and keep the fridge going.
