Just got it and set it up so longevity unknown but no reason to think it won’t last. Looks like it is well built and came with everything needed. It is not one of those quiet generators but I’m not worried about that. Was easy to get set up to run and seems fairly simple to operate

Box was heavily damaged when Pilot Trucking delivered. Unpacked unit and did not see any damage to unit. Put together, hooked up propane and put a little gas in the tank. Used both start button and key fob, both worked well. Flip breaker on unit and plugged in cordless drill. (It worked). changed from LP to Gas while running and unit switched over perfect. Unit is not loud or at least not as loud as my Generac. So Far So Good, I love it. Where I live we have lots of hurricanes so next hurricane will tell the true story on how well this unit can keep up!

After months of researching generators I decided on the wgen9500df as my go to generator for my home. The run time of 14 hours on a 6.6 gallon tank of gas for running my 1700sq/ft home minus the main ac unit is bar none the best I have seen on the market today. That's all included running my lights, fridge , hot water heater, garage freezer, 2 computers , a tv and internet. I mean i cant ask for anything more from a portable generator. If you want to run ac unit sure you probably could but where I live its not a necessity.

I live in southern California and we often have brown outs during summer and I am tire of worrying about my food spoiling and no fans on 100 degree days. So I decided to take the plunge and buy a generator. After months of research I decided to go with Westinghouse,so glad I did. Every thing seems top of the line from build quality to ease of use.It comes with every thing needed to get started even the oil. The only negative that i had was that the plastic dip stick threads might strip if I am not careful. Other than that very happy with my first generator purchase. So hats off to Westinghouse for making me confident in my decision to purchase their product.

I had purchased this for emergency use and that came with Beryl. I use an interlock and 50 amp inlet. We were able to power our A/C (whole house) two refrigerators and a deep freeze. As well as the room and bathroom we slept in. We started on propane and then when it became apparent we’d be out for awhile switched over to gas. I filled the tank around 8pm and when I went out at 3:30 it still had more than half a tank. All in all in 24 hrs we burned 1/3rd of a 40lb propane tank and about 5-6 gallons of gas. It’s not the quietest of generators, matter of fact you can hear it throughout the house and I’m sure the neighbors house too. Purchased it in 21 first used Yesterday, worked great it’s a great purchase for something you hope to never use. Interlocks are affordable as are inlets. Have an electrician install them and you’re good to go with this genset.

I bought this generator in anticipation of the upcoming winter freeze season. As a first time generator owner, I enjoyed that it was shipped cleanly and simple to put together. The documentation is well written and easy to understand even for a newbie like me. I love the ability to use propane as a fuel source since I use propane more than gas around my house. My only complaint would be that it came with conventional oil as opposed to synthetic oil. That isn't enough to knock it down a star however.

This generator was recommended to us, we returned another one we bought for this one. Glad we did, very easy set up and great start up. Added bonus with the remote start, this is wonderful for those who have a hard time starting a generator. Started right up on the first try!!!

This Is my second WH Generator and I can’t say enough for quality and performance. Upgraded to WGen9500DF. Wanted more output and duel fuel. So far extremely happy as with my first. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great generator for the money. Can’t be beat!

After the preparations the literature gives you, and allowing the battery to charge overnight, this generator fired up with only one or two turns of the starter!! Checked all my electrical outputs, and all are as advertised. I wish it weighed half as much, and was half as loud, but now I’m just whining!!😁 Overall, I don’t think you can beat the capabilities this unit offers, at this price, and a three year warranty!!

I have not owned this generator for very long, but it seems to run the way it is supposed to. It starts fine and runs on both gas and propane. I have not use the 220 V but I did check it with a voltmeter. The box initially had a dent in the side of it but not a single scratch on the generator.
