My last generator died after 17 years and three hurricanes later. I spent some time researching new generators and am extremely pleased that I settled on the WGen9500DF. I like the dual fuel feature, as now I am prepared better to have both fuel types on hand. In fact, I may purchase a 100 LB LP tank for the unit. This unit has a 50 Amp plug, so I have plenty of power to run items in my home. I also like the display on the unit so I can keep track of voltage and run time for maintenance. The unit has remote auto start. It's nice but not considered a necessary.

Too early to fully review, will come back once I use. Only disappointment so far is the amount of scuffing on the painted parts. Obviously rubbed too much during shipping. Even looks like a poor factory touch up of frame. It's matte black, but touch up was glossy.

I bought this during the Tax Free sales week for storm prep and I am so happy that I did....after a lesson from my dad, I am confident that I will be able to easily use this generator, if necessary. I love that it is dual fuel, making it easier for me to keep propane tanks on had, which is cleaner and safer stored outside by my BBQ and I don't have to worry so much about tons of the gas tanks laying around.

I bought this generator to replace a 20-year-old one. How far generators have come. Having the battery starter and the ability to switch between gasoline and propane really will be helpful during an extended outage. So far everything has worked as advertised.

I just bought this because my power keeps going out and now I don't have to worry about it. I just walk out, turn it on, push a button and I have power again. Best choice I have made in a long time. Easy to put together also, even a 65 year old could to it by herself.

I live in the Tampa Bay area and bought this dual fuel use generator a couple of weeks ago. We have an inground 200 gallon LP tank and I like the idea we'll be able to run the generator for extended periods without the risk of running out of fuel in the event of power outages due to hurricanes or other unforeseen circumstances. Now I just have to figure out how run power from the generator to the various appliances and portable AC. Hoping there's a way to wire into our main electric panel and run sections of the house from there by shutting off the main breaker and all other breakers other than those where we need power (e.g., kitchen, master bedroom w/portable AC). Will do more research and determine what's best and safest.

I bought this for our family as a just in case. I love the electric start and the wireless keyfob that you can use to start it with. Took about 30 minutes to assemble out of the box added oil and gas, started her up and let her run. A must have for anyone who has ever had to go without power for a few days.

I am not a paid advertiser/reviewer for Westinghouse or anyone else. This is an honest customer review. Did the initial break in and the unit runs great. Using non-ethanol fuel and have LP as my back up. Start up is easy from both the push button electric start and the remote starter. Have not used the pull starter yet. Unit is loud, but not as loud as some generators I have been around and this is typical for most portable generators.

I purchased this unit as power backup for my home during our frequent nasty winter storms also my old generator gave up the ghost (it was not a Westinghouse) The Duel fuel option is a great feature. I have been using propane and the machine starts right up! runs well but it is a loud at 80db or so. An ECO switch should have been included but is not. The enclosed info sheets are well written in proper English. The included maintenance schedules are a great help and value. Assembly was a snap. very good experience so far! One more thing. Though it may seem small the included oil, fill funnel and 10mm wrench are a very thoughtful addition. Great Marketing department!

IM SO HAPPY! PERFECT! In my application I'm a lady 60 & disabled, this will be so easy, no hard pull start. Winters can be hard in Northern Michigan. This will run my whole home, flip a few switches, Remote start, Flip on the breakers that I want generator to supply. Now on to build a vented cover
