I was torn between this and a cheaper brand from a department store, I’m glad I went with this one! Seems like a real good quality product, everything is heavy duty, no cheap parts that I can tell. Love the electric start feature, haven’t used this during an outage yet, but with natural gas , my load isn’t that high. This generator will power my whole house ( minus the A/C). My only negative experience was getting it started for the first time took a lot of fighting. Electric start would not start it, I tried manually starting it as well which would not work. Lastly, I opened the carburetor cover and sprayed some starting fluid in it while it was cranking, and after three tries it fired up and ran well for an hour. Also be sure you use 5-30 synthetic if you live anywhere temps can get below 0. 1.1 quart is not enough oil to get the level within range on the dip stick, it took 1.4 .

My order arrived without any complications and so far the quality of this generator is top notch. I only ran it for an hour so far and tested all functionality and it performed flawlessly. Once I have the need to run it more I will leave an updated review.

It’s powerful enough to run the air conditioner during the power outage. My only complaint is I can’t run it on natural gas, Only gasoline or propane. If your power goes out for longer than 12 hours then you’ll have to go refill all your gas cans or your portable propane tanks.

I bought this generator to power my house during Florida hurricane season. Thankfully I haven't needed it, but my sister was in the path of hurricane Helene. Being in the outskirts of town they're estimating she'll be without power for 6-8 weeks. I hooked the generator up at her house, it ran overnight (or about 20 hours total) and the intake valve retainer broke. Sadly, now I have a very expensive paperweight.

Received the machine today, quite heavy, can not be dragged on the floating floor. I have to cut the carton on the drive way, attach 2 wheels, it's very easy to move and drag to the backyard. After carefully reading the instructions, I filled the engine with oil and it was just full. First I installed the engine with a propane tank and then started the engine. The engine starts very easily, a bit noisy but I think it's OK. Then I filled up the gas tank, switched to gas mode and started the engine with the remote. It's also very easy to start up. I am very happy with this start. Tomorrow, if I have time, I will try to connect the power's output to my office to see its capacity.

I’ve had this for a week. so far it has been easy to operate & came with everything I could ask for. I like the way the electric start operations work. Surprisingly maneuverable for such a large generator. I haven’t had a chance to test the 220v operation, but the 120v outlets work fine.

I just received this item , getting ready for a busy hurricane season . I will also buy the switch and have that installed by an electrician . Easy to put together and I am a female . I like the fact it had a remote start and manual start and it's also dual fuel . This unit should be able to run the necessities I need after a storm.

Bought earlier this month based on reviews and recommendations. Have yet to get the house interlock switch installed to prepare for our Maine weather and regular power outs, but the machine is solid and easy to setup. Don’t want to say I look forward to using it but happy to have the insurance policy in hand.

I just got my Westinghouse generator and it is a very solid machine. As some people noted, the wheels aren't intended for extended use but this generator is heavy enough that I couldn't imagine moving it a lot. I'm going to be using it for backup power at my house so it will pretty much be stationary any ways. I haven't fired it up yet but I will report back when I have.
