I brought this 2 weeks ago just set it up. We ran it for the break in cycle and it runs so easy and quiet. We have a lot of power outages going into the winter here on the east coast. I love the idea of the starting fob so I don't even have to go out in the bad weather to start my new generator. The few years ago we had a major power outage with no power for a week. The only thing that saved our food from going bad and the house from freezing was the old generator we had at that time. The trouble was it ran gasoline only and with the power out all over no gas station could pump gas. So with this generator being duel fuel I think will be fine if we ever have that type of power loss again.

I have been looking for a good generator as a backup when I go camping. Something that will handle the fifty amps that I need to run my AC units.. Having one that is dual fuel, So I can use propane is a real plus. The setup was super easy. Everything I needed was in the box. The generator is well built. The frame is excellent. Everything is easy to use and understand.

I made my wife run through the process of checking oil, fuel, starting, stopping and stowing the generator. She was amazed at how easy it was! She was especially excited about the key fob. No need to even go outside in the storm, she can start the generator from inside. We haven't done more than a few test runs yet, but as they say, winter is coming......

BOUGHT THIS GENERATOR IN THE SPRING JUST GOT AROUND TO HOOKING IT UP FIRED RIGHT UP AND RAN THE HOUSE FOR AN HOUR FEELS GOOD KNOWING I GOT SOMETHING TO FALL BACK ON LAST SPRING BIG ICE STORM HAD NO POWER FOR FIFTEEN DAYS DONT APPRECIATE IT TELL ITS GONE.

I've only had to use it a few times but I'm glad I have it on hand when needed. I've really only used the Propane option to fuel it as I don't want any gasoline to get stagnant in between uses, but I've been impressed for how long it will run on a simple bottle of propane that I swap from my grill as needed.

Very easy to setup and start. Good documentation and runs pretty quietly. Got a kick out of the remote key fob starter which allows you to start and stop with the push of a button. Grok.com assured me that the WGen9500DF has enough power to power my whole 3 bedroom house and kitchen and heat pump during an outage, so I bought this beast. We shall see how it performs during the next winter storm outage up here in the PNW Seattle area. So far though, am quite impressed.

We just set this up since winter will be here soon and it was easy to attach the wheels add the oil and we went ahead and added the fuel so it's ready to go. It looks very well made and I went to many websites reading the reviews and they were great. I hope we don't need it but if we do I'm sure this will take care of our power needs during a power failure.

Couldn’t believe it! After doing all the customer prep, oil, gas, and general switchology, it started on the first attempt! Ran it for 30 minutes powering my 16’ travel trailer AC. Quite pleased it’s adequate. Plus I’m comfortable with the reliability of the brand, unlike so many others.

I cannot express great and easily manageable this product is. Very simple to switch from gasoline to propane or vice versa. It comes with a quick start key fob as the easier option or yes you have the manual pull start if needed. I've tested it and it can handle quite the load as I had my electrician add a in house breaker box connection and have our heating and air inverters hooked up, our well water, our refrigerator and our water heater. It has no issues keeping those units or products running smoothly. I also ran a power cord to our deep freezer as well to the generator, still bo issues....Love this generator, great product.

Had this for about a year.. works great on either LP or Gas, always kept covered and run monthly .. BUT NOW... I just identified 2 failure issues.. 1) battery harness connection corrodes, stops voltage to start system, (should have grease from factory on connections? 2) push button start switch failed.. out of stock at GE? Hmmm one would think this part could have improved replacement part from manufacturer? online reviews state high failure item..? I have not found an alternate and now must jump start for LP fuel only.. .. Points to poor part selection for these items.. In my opinion.. I would not recommend a product you cant locate repair parts on 2 year old system.
