Just got this generator to run my 50A RV and as a home backup generator. Have not had a chance to really use it for anything but so far its been great. Assembly was easy and I connected it to propane for the initial start. Fired right up. Put some gas in it and switched to gas from propane and it did exactly as described when switching and kept running. Switched back to propane and it kept running. Connected it to a small space heater just to test plugs, no problems there. I will give it a good test over the upcoming weekend but I am still in the 5 hour break in window so no large loads on it yet. I almost bought a cover with it but when you register and leave a review, they will give you one for free. Will see if that really happens.

We got this generator to power our home in case of storms and/or blackouts. Not much faith in our depleting grid. This is at least peace of mind. Overall great machine with great features. Assembly was pretty quick, install wheels and supplied oil. Gas it up and connect the battery. Started right up no issues. Haven't got the wiring ready on the house yet but I'm sure this machine will be just fine. And the dual fuel option is pretty awesome too.

Just purchased the WGen9500DF duel fuel geni. Set-up was a breeze. Uber clear instructions and all necessary parts were included & nicely packaged. Started up immediately and runs relatively quietly. Will be testing it out via a mock power outage this weekend!

First time buyer of a generator and I am very happy with my purchase. I thought it would be hard to use but surprisingly it's not. Easy instructions for assembly. Everything you need is included. Also, I love the auto start...there is no need for me to walk outside to turn it on/off. Highly recommended!

I bought this because power on Whidbey Island goes out a couple times a winter because of high winds. This generator has the features I was looking for in a portable house generator. I haven't actually used it yet, but I like most of the design except for the 50-amp receptical. Whoever placed the receptical over the wheel has never had a 50-amp cord in their hands. I plan to power my house with the 50-amp cord and will have to remove the wheel after the generator is in place. As can be seen with the picture, the power cord plug uses most of the space between the receptical and wheel. These cords are massive and not very flexible so I will have to remove the wheel to get the 50-amp cord plugged in. Every 50-amp cord I've seen has a 90 degree angle plug.

We had a 2 day power outage and it was the first time I had to rely on a generator. Although it’s heavy and I’m 74 yrs old ,I was able to maneuver where needed . Did a great job keeping 2 freezers ,3 refrigerators ,water heater ignition ,gas furnace fan ,lights , outlets really remarkable . Had an electrician install outside plug and do inside panel work .

This is my second Westinghouse generator. They are just so dang reliable without the higher price of the brand that starts with an “H”. My dad had been hinting that he wanted my original one, so purchasing the new one made for a good excuse. Ultimately, we both get new generators because that thing has been and continues to be solid as a rock! Everything about this new generator screams quality. Out of the box and initial start up she “purred like a kitten”. Best surprise ever, it has a remote control:)

I purchased the 9500/12500DFc Generator about 10 days ago. It was simple to set up and works amazingly! Haven't put a full load through it yet. Electrician is coming in a couple of days to install transfer switch and base on the power, it should run most of my household items including A/C. Looking forward to seeing all it can do. I feel prepared for any emergency situation now...peace of mind!

After reviewing a lot of products, I decided to order the Wgen9500DF. When it arrived it seemed to be sturdy and has great features just like all the reviews said. Unfortunately when I received this a week ago and it had water and rust in the fuel tank upon delivery. After calling Westinghouse about the issue all they did was take your name, phone number, and email address to have someone call you back. In which no one has even reached out in over a week. I will give Westinghouse the benefit of the doubt that covid and hurricane season has delayed the call back. Fortunately, the fuel tank has a fine mesh screen inside so none of the debris made it into the system. So after cleaning the fuel tank myself to remove all said debris, the product seems to work well. It comes with a 3 year warranty so time will tell.

Recently purchased this generator. Very impressed with its features. I purchased this to replace my older generator that no longer works. Having an electric/remote start will make it much easier for my wife to start it. Like having the option to use either gas or propane. Starts easy and runs smooth! Very satisfied!
